09/1/2019 13:23 | Don't want to be a party pooper, but if you follow the operator (Po Valley Energy) guidance, first gas from Selva won't be until 2Q 2020 at the earliest. Their latest presentation shows 4Q 2020 as the target date (slide 8). If UOG is talking end 2019, then either there is partner misalignment, or blarney is being spouted | spangle93
09/1/2019 09:40 | I added today also sub 5p absolute gift placing was 5.5p too | maverick247
09/1/2019 09:31 | Good to see a tick up. Thanks for the twitter piece maverick. Locked and loaded myself but can't resist the odd top up. | soulsauce
09/1/2019 09:16 | Post from twitter Between Waddock and Selva #UOG could close the year with circa 400boepd production - useful for.a company with a £10m cap minus £5m cash but these really are side shows to the other assets East Selva could be 3-5x Selva too and path to production upon success would be immediate Echos my thoughts been loading up here in the 4's well below the premium placing - last confirmed call Brian said first 8 weeks of 2019 should see sustained news flow Locked and loaded ! | maverick247
08/1/2019 16:10 | As with all the many other [actual as well as potential] assets that UOG have or are currently working on COLTER coming in can only be viewed as an absolute positive thing even at just 10% On the other hand if COLTER does not work UOG will still be very much in the oil & gas business the next day! | cpap man
08/1/2019 16:05 | As the post above clearly demonstrates COLTER is not that small!!!! And UOG are not yet anyway that big!!!! | cpap man
08/1/2019 16:00 | Colter will appraise a historic discovery that lies immediately to the south of Europe's largest onshore oil field at Wytch Farm. The discovery was made in 1986 by well 98/11-3, which encountered a 10.5m oil column in the Sherwood Sandstone reservoir, the same play that has proven to be so productive at Wytch Farm where over 450mmbbls have been produced to date. The new well will be drilled updip of 98/11-3 targeting significant potential that has been identified following reprocessing of 3D seismic data. The gross unrisked mid-case oil contingent resources in the section proven up by the 98/11-3 well have been estimated at 4mmbbls, with gross unrisked mean-case prospective resources estimated at 15mmbbls in the rest of the structure. United Oil & Gas PLC CEO, Brian Larkin, said: "The drilling of Colter in Q1 2019 will kick off what promises to be another exciting year for United. As well as appraising a historic discovery at Colter, which we believe could hold in aggregate up to 19mmbbls of gross contingent and prospective resources, shareholders can look forward to further high impact activity across our portfolio of late stage European development projects and frontier exploration offshore Jamaica. This includes advancing the Podere Maiar gas discovery on the Podere Gallina licence onshore Italy towards first production; results from the ongoing processing and interpretation work of the recently acquired 3D seismic over the Colibri target on the Tullow Oil operated Walton-Morant licence, offshore Jamaica; and further progress in de-risking the Crown discovery in the North Sea." | cpap man
08/1/2019 13:03 | Funtimejonny, it's just another cog in the wheel, and one that keeps getting bigger with every deal, plus far better than having, say a 60% chance in a huge field but only to find its a dud. UOG are not just Colter if you take the time to look a little deeper. | dorset64
08/1/2019 12:56 | Correct Funtime but the chance of success makes it more than worthwhile to supplement the other assets and what is to come. | soulsauce
08/1/2019 12:32 | Colter drill is hardly life changing. 10% of a small field if its a success! | funtimejonny
07/1/2019 14:34 | Bobby, totally agree.. | 1bokke
07/1/2019 08:26 | You have to be a serious idiot to be selling this in the month Colter is due to spud & with oil price on a move back up! Madness! | bobby1904
02/1/2019 15:31 | Oil price jumped 5% in the last hr out of nowhere!! | bobby1904

21/12/2018 12:40 | Just thinking out loud the fall in the oil price couldn't have come at a better time for UOG. A very opportune raising means we are well cashed up at the top of the market and now we should be able to get a more favourable transformational deal(s) based on the current POO. | soulsauce
21/12/2018 09:34 | Haha, thanks to you both. | billyboychrisd
