Less than 10 weeks to go to the New Year and is it going to be £42mln or £60mln/£70mln for the NE Euro businesses?If it's the lower figure which I very much doubt, then expect the share price to do nothing until the next Broker earnings upgrade, which will surely come soon with £11.5mln in cost savings next year and if it's £60mln/£70mln then expect a 75%/100% rise in record time.Given that Uniq are now trading profitably,I would expect the share price to trade at a premium to net cash. I still expect a mega day whoosh-don't bet against it!"

The "MEGA-DAY WHOOSH"....Oh yes, I remember it well. Uniq was trading in the mid 40 pences when Rainmaker was making these uber-bullish predictions.

Hey ho, After another big rise in the FTSE today that's approximately another £5mln lopped off the Pension Fund Deficit to take it to around £28mln.In just one day! At this rate we'll have a surplus before Christmas!Maybe Uniq could even get back the £87mln one day-that would be a real result!

how could you have a proper debate when all
the posters who were flagging up the pension
issue were just blocked from the thread by
rainmaker.

66james and fireplace are missing the point.
it wasnt just about buy or sell but getting
collective information from others who might
have been better qualified to answer points on
occupational pensions. its not one of those
issues that you come across that many times.

it deserved to be debated but was taken from
holders grasps by a dictator who thought he
knew more than even the company brokers analyst.

Fireplace22. you are spot on...what do the moaners want. I got out with a small loss (about2k)
Because of RM's work, we (me included) bought into Uniq nobody held a gun to my head to buy or sell. I made a wrong decision but it was my decision. I have done that b/4 and will no doubt do it again.
Just get on with and make your own decisions and stop tryinhg to blame someone else for your own mistakes

exactly - it's not the spotting of a share that went from 8p to 40p that i object to. if he had sold at 40p and told us - i would have been first to congratulate him. it was the fact that he never admitted that he was bailing out and was quite possibly continuing to talk it up while offloading.

And at 40p he was telling this board that he expected a huge single day rise to be upcoming. At the same time(or earlier) he was selling his own shares I suspect.
