14/9/2010 18:15 | Half pension fund is in shares, so a 50% rise in the FTSE over the next 12 months will do the job. | ![]() tara7
14/9/2010 18:06 | recapitalisation - can't see it until the pension is dealt with - so a few twist and turns before that point | pysgodaur
14/9/2010 14:20 | last year any reports was accompanied with the warning of the pension debt figure of april 2009. Does anyone know what is the pension debt as of april 2010. thanks for any positive response. wispaman | wispaman

14/9/2010 12:39 | :(( I cannot understand how a business is allowed to go to the wall affecting 1000's of jobs so that legacy pensions can be maintained!!! Thet need to reach an agreement asap and move the business forward!!! | ![]() joeblogg2
14/9/2010 12:25 | Yes plenty of post like this one.... Rainmaker - 27 Jul'09 - 10:04 - 6127 of 6689 What's the share price going to do when net cash is suddenly way above the current £40mln market cap? Net Cash will shortly be £35mln or 30p a share but Lisner £35mln?, Johma £20mln? and Nadler £30mln? is £85mln in total to take net cash to 104p.Ok, lets be really mean and very pessimistic and take £10mln off the first two and we'll say that Nadler is joint ventured-that's still takes net cash per share to 60p, a full 71% above the current share price! regards | ![]() trendfloor
14/9/2010 10:58 | Unfortunately for some though the current price makes it impossible to move on, doesn't it? They just have to lump it. I'm sure Rainmaker must regret some of his uber-bullish posts about an upcoming spike in the price at a time when the share price was nearing 50p. Irrational exuberance no doubt! | teapreacher
14/9/2010 10:40 | I agree with hal5 of course as the only one responisble for buying and selling your portfolio is yourself and NO ONE else!!! Must put it behind you and move on. | trojan
14/9/2010 09:26 | Help please. Is the pension fund invested in bonds only, if so no way out here. | ![]() tara7
14/9/2010 09:10 | tf - you should move on mate, holding grudges just makes you look bitter - life is too short. Harmonics - I don't think there is a clear timeline - just watch and wait! | pysgodaur

13/9/2010 20:24 | I don't blame rainmaker or anyone else for that matter, for my losses, they are entirely down to me. I chose to invest in Uniq because I thought they would give a better than average return, the one bad mistake I made was ignoring the pension problem, I thought it would be easily resolved but apparently not and it will take a lot more than wishful thinking on my part to get the price back to cover my losses in the near term. Meanwhile I have sold a third of my holding and instead bought SLN hoping to get back losses with this highly speculative share which is due a take over offer anytime soon. | hal5

13/9/2010 09:09 | Yes, I'd like some of those 50p pieces back that I bought for 33p sadly, now worth only 9.5p! | hal5
13/9/2010 01:30 | copied from VAL thread...... trendfloor - 13 Sep'10 - 01:24 - 2144 of 2144 edit Rainmaker do you see any way out of the plight in which UNIQ is in at the moment, and would you like to comment on why you wouldnt discuss the problems surrounding the companys pension scheme even when other posters had pointed out the dangers to you when you were still plugging it at the height of the highs in the 40ps. Perhaphs you could tell us if you still hold. | ![]() trendfloor
11/9/2010 19:54 | Yes, Brando appears on the CAD thread occasionally. I guess he took a a thrashing from the small cap market and decided to give it a break for a while, many did (including me) This stock is in the back water but is resilient at 10p, could be one to watch if there is some news...when do we expect news? | harmonics
10/9/2010 08:51 | Morning all...have i spotted the return of Brando? Is it time to do the UNIQ thing all over again? | pysgodaur
25/8/2010 10:09 | This is painfull.... Yes its great to have hindsight and comment 'told you so' after the event when never held. I made my decision to buy and I made the decision to stick when maybe I should have stacked. But time will tell if it was the right one, currently it looks very much like the wrong one on both accounts. I have all but written this investment off, so if it comes good and gets back anywhere near my entry level then it will be a huge bonus. But have learnt a very hard lesson to leave go when gut instinct tells you to... Fingers crossed for all holders. HC | ![]() honest crust |
