04/12/2020 14:15 | Banked profits on abf yesterday too early and bought in here too early! Oh well, time will tell! | ![]() spoole5

04/12/2020 13:44 | Well fwiw parts of the market now look dangerous to me. Some cyclicals behaving as if we revert back to a December 2019 economy without pause for breath - that's not going to happen in many cases. I notice Vertu, one of the small cyclicals I trade sometimes, is already coming back from recent highs. | ![]() essentialinvestor
04/12/2020 13:41 | Thanks. I'm sure I'll kick myself for selling some too early, but I'm also mindful of past mistakes (hanging on to eke out another 10% only to be hit by some unexpected bad news). I don't have any worries about ULVR over the long run, and it does give some trading opportunities as we've seen recently. If we have another swift return to 4700s I'd be tempted to sell a portion with a view to rebuying below 4400. | ![]() 1nf3rn0
04/12/2020 13:22 | Well done on your gains, some stunning moves of late. | ![]() essentialinvestor
04/12/2020 12:03 | Banked profits from some of my "riskier" stocks which have had huge rebounds since the Pfizer vaccine announcement and doubled up here. Been a core holding for me for a number of years.Pretty confident we'll see 5000p again within the next 12 months or so, with reliable 3.3% dividend on top. | ![]() 1nf3rn0
04/12/2020 09:27 | Ulvr price fell from over £46 in mid June to just under £42 in early July, so a very rapid, quick fall. We look to be in that 'pattern' currently, or something close. | ![]() essentialinvestor

03/12/2020 21:47 | Ei,yes on the nose ULVR expected eps 2550p p/e 18.75,historically they've traded on 23/24.XDWS world etf consumer staples trailing p/e 23.45,sit tight we'll have our day. | ![]() contrarian joe
03/12/2020 18:25 | Hi Joe, you mentioned £42 previously so on this occasion might well be the case. I'm adding ULVR more slowly this time, given what happened in November. @ £42 the multiple on FY 2021 is under 19 X, around 18.75. That compares to around 24 X on P&G, 23 X on Nestle. | ![]() essentialinvestor
03/12/2020 16:08 | Added a few more,4200 looks a high probability, have quite a few Reits EI,hunting for some Euro earners. | ![]() contrarian joe

02/12/2020 14:05 | Hi Joe - reunification as well in the mix, May be some late Dutch sellers - I'm assuming previous Unilever NV holders can now sell the unified LSE listed stock, if they wish. Some may be late in doing so. | ![]() essentialinvestor
02/12/2020 11:33 | Summary of ULVR compared to consumer staples etfs. ULVR 52wk low/high 3721/4889. volatility 31.5%. Showing quite a bit more volatility than etfs mentioned. 52 WK price 4548/4430 down around -2.2%. Euros seem to have underperformed. my own conclusion fwiw buying under 4400 seems a good exercise. | ![]() contrarian joe

01/12/2020 14:23 | I see ULVR are working with a small UK company DeepVerge DVRG as they have developed artificial skin in their labskin to test products for effectiveness of covid and other containments PLUS to be used testing skincare products and get rid of animal testing on skin products worldwide for good. | ![]() onehanded
