21/11/2022 16:42 | It will stay there until defensive plays go off the boil again I think. Good to see though and that's why many hold this one. | tuftymatt
21/11/2022 16:18 | 4100's again. Wonder what'll happen this time. | chiefbrody
04/11/2022 11:33 | A week or so after my last post here and we are back knocking on the door of £40 Very pleased with that for a defensive play when the markets are climbing 👍🏻 | tuftymatt
30/10/2022 16:35 | Regarding Debt on website average interest rate 2.0%, have 5.5B, maturing next 2 years, but have just received 4 Billion tea money + internal cash flow, so well covered. They also have expensive debt from 90's & 2000's so maybe they can expire that legacy debt while interest rates are elevated?. | giltedge1
27/10/2022 14:45 | Around Euro 27 BN in net debt on the H1, it keeps creeping up and now longer term interest rates are rising. | essentialinvestor
27/10/2022 11:04 | Yes agree PKT & ULVR good place for Widows, Orphans & investors who sleep well at night, tech figures from last night. MSFT 231.32 -7.72% AMZN 115.66 -4.10% META 129.82 -5.59% NVDA 128.96 -2.75% | giltedge1
27/10/2022 10:47 | Yes, happy to hold these (and RKT) | philanderer
27/10/2022 09:44 | I agree worth over £40, turnover up 18% for quarter almost a growth share?, price growth 12.5%, & pushing into higher margin beauty & wellbeing & selling lower margin businesses, cannot fault this strategy. You would expect some volume decline, this is basic economics of supply/demand I remember from my school days. when you factor in China in lockdown, pulling out of Russia & destocking from Covid hygiene, volume decline probably minimal. I would guess once analyst reports hit the trading desks this afternoon you will see some buy orders. Especially as Tech dropped last night, so some reallocation. I would buy more but already have 15% of my funds in ULVR. | giltedge1
27/10/2022 09:06 | I think this is still worth £40 and when people start to look a bit more at defensive plays it could push to that. We had £39 an hour ago so it's not a big ask!! I hold at a £35 average but will take a few more at 3790 if it drops that low. | tuftymatt
27/10/2022 08:47 | In Outlook: "We now expect underlying sales growth for the full year 2022 to be above 8%, with more negative underlying volume growth than in the first nine months." - I understand their actual growth has declined in the last 9 months if volumes are down. What will be the outcome for the year and next then ? A hidden revenue warning ? Possibly. | fuji99
27/10/2022 07:19 | Volumes in constant decline, when will we return to volume growth? Inflationary pressure expected throughout 2023. | alotto

26/10/2022 10:39 | Any bad news is hammered atm. Twas ever so. Suet | suetballs
26/10/2022 09:17 | RKT numbers aren't that bad. The vast majority of the volume decline is down to Lysol which is a pure Covid thing. Apart from that volumes were only down 1% | marksp2011
26/10/2022 09:08 | ULVR being dragged down due to poor 3rd quarter trading update from RKT | max euwe
21/10/2022 14:51 | Yes HUL great results, brokers don't have a clue about this share, been way off the mark. | giltedge1
21/10/2022 13:17 | Hindustan Unilever (India) a subsidiary of Unilever PLC says profits beat estimates, shares up. | max euwe
20/10/2022 16:34 | Gilt ; pot noodle is essential food in recessionary periods. Volumes rise. | magli
20/10/2022 15:37 | Share price flat YOY, better than most FTSE, but as most sales in USD, CYN & INR should have done better. UK only about 4% turnover at best so a side show. Focus on USA/India/China where doing very well, & buying up fast growing companies. So getting 4% yield & growth for future, I value at least £42+. consumers cutting back on heating, holidays etc, but still buy Magnums, Pot noodles, Dove etc as affordable treats. | giltedge1
19/10/2022 13:19 | Investors in consumer goods giant Unilever (ULVR) will be taking heart from today’s positive third-quarter trading update from rival Nestle (NESN:SWX), the world’s biggest packaged food company. After sales for the first nine months beat estimates, the Swiss firm raised its full year organic revenue growth guidance giving shareholders in Unilever hope the Marmite-to-Magnum group might do the same when it reports next week. sharesmagazine.co.uk | philanderer
19/10/2022 11:59 | RBC Capital markets has a 'market perform' rating today. Price raised to £39 from £36 | max euwe
15/10/2022 08:13 | 3170!! Seems crazy low to me and I think circa 3800 looks a good top up point. | tuftymatt
15/10/2022 00:02 | 10/14/2022 | 08:09am EDT UBS analyst reiterate his Sell rating on the stock. The target price is reduced from GBX 3670 to GBX 3170 | philanderer
14/10/2022 14:18 | And ULVR, RKT, DGE, BATS and AZN bouncing right back today. | philanderer |
