28/7/2024 14:57 | Income from Salt Cavern Hydrogen Storage is big money. . "The Royal Society predict UK will need c. 60-100 TWh of new build hydrogen storage by 2050, National Grid 2023 FES STS predicts ~50 TWh by 2050, primarily to store excess renewable electricity to meet future peak demand periods" . "Translates to a new UK asset class potentially of ~£10+ billion, with potential £ multibillion per year revenue market" . "Portfolio of 3 new national scale coastal salt cavern sites, each of ~2.7 TWh (~0.9 bn m³) ~15-20 caverns/site. Each site potentially = ~20% of predicted UK 2050 storage demand*" . "National grid 2023 FES STS scenario, H₂ storage @ max fill/withdrawal cycles = ~10.4 TWh/year" . . Work it out! . Three sites, each site potentially = ~20% of predicted UK 2050 storage demand of a "£ multibillion per year revenue market. BIG money. . 10TWh by 2030 is the first target. Which is still going to be big money on it's own. | haggismchaggis

28/7/2024 14:23 | UKOG aren't working on anything apart from extracting money from you for their exorbitant wages IMO. | bionicdog
28/7/2024 14:18 | Seems the troll Pirates428 is DESPERATE for PPP to keep going up when it's already 20 bagged, and wants UKOG to go down when it's only doubled. I had a target of 10p on PPP as did most everyone else, and it's already hit it and sold off on it. . The troll is even down voting my posts LOL!!, as if anyone gives a toss about that LOL!! . Ignore the BS from the troll. It's now on my filter list, put it on yours. | haggismchaggis
28/7/2024 14:16 | National Gas deal paves the way towards no-regrets hydrogen network . National Gas has kicked off the next stage of its hydrogen programme by engaging Jacobs and ERM to help deliver pre-Front End Engineering Design (pre-FEED) activities for a hydrogen backbone connecting industrial regions across Britain. . Project Union is a pioneering project led by National Gas to create a British hydrogen backbone, capable of transporting 100% hydrogen, connecting hydrogen production and storage with end users. . Through the phased repurposing of existing high pressure gas transmission network infrastructure - alongside the construction of selected new pipelines - Project Union will create a hydrogen network of up to 2,000km, equivalent to 25% of Britain’s current methane transmission network. . . . | haggismchaggis

28/7/2024 13:47 | For those wanting to actually KNOW what UKOG are working on, read this presentation. It's not rocket science to see that the UK needs this if they are to achieve the Hydrogen transition they have in the current Government Manifesto and Great British Energy plans. It's not going to evaporate just because UKOG stock goes up. . . UKOG at it's current Market Cap of £2.18m is barely the cost of a shell company with no operations. Ignore the noise from the day traders trying to create more volatility so they can trade it more, it should be valued way higher based on the value of those Salt Caverns alone, without any of the O&G assets. If it was valued today at £10m or even £20m no ii's would bat an eyelid. If it get the Government or Private funding (it is pursuing BOTH) for the Hydrogen Storage to go ahead, a Market Cap of £150m should be the minimum IMVHO. | haggismchaggis

28/7/2024 11:46 | datait..what helium?? | iceagefarmer
28/7/2024 11:26 | All that's needed is the correct machinery to get the oil out helium and gas, this is now UKOG time to fly. Watch this space fill your boots and big knickers. Volume we have never seen in yrs now ready to fly high | datait
