"Claire Coutinho, the Energy Secretary, has endorsed the scheme and adjusted the Government’s hydrogen storage business policy to secure taxpayer subsidies for the project. UK Oil and Gas (UKOG), the company spearheading the initiative, aims to seek planning permission within months.Stephen Sanderson, CEO of UKOG, plans to file the application under the Government’s nationally significant infrastructure system, which would allow the project to bypass potential local opposition. “Portland Port is ideally situated for the construction of large salt caverns as it overlies a 450-metre thick, high-quality rock salt,â€? said Sanderson.Sanderson has held meetings with key figures from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, including Secretary of State Claire Coutinho, Lord Callanan, Minister for Energy Efficiency and Green Finance, and Graham Stuart, Minister for Energy Security and Net Zero."

UKOG loses so much it can't stay afloat or work over it's wells so unless ppp buy in they on a one way track to Neverland and cannot sustain a hydrogen startup or use hydrogen finance to prop up their wells.

Again UKEN for the win no idea what UKOG got to do with it but SS never cease to amaze!

Yes but all the planning approvals for Donkey Hill have been quashed, it's dead in the water and the Surrey Sprinkler is producing just enough oil to fund the tea kitty.

But a lot of that and other reasons is why they formed a new company UKEN and they will apply for finance through it not UKOG.

If you want shares in hydrogen buy UKEN when you can not UKOG FFS that simple only the moron rampers don't understand why UKEN is now a separate company and why!
