I did like this bit

", the field's historic and future expected production volumes would fall below the 500 tonnes/day (c. 3,700 barrels/day) production threshold for which an EIA is mandatory for petroleum extraction developments."

How the mighty have fallen.

I've no time for ShareCoin Sanderson, as I've made clear, but this is a ludicrous judgement and proves yet again that the UK has totally lost the plot. The idiots have destroyed one industry after another over the years, it's no wonder the UK is in decline.

All it means is that people will stop producing UK oil and have to buy more from countries that don't give two hoots about the environment. Then they ship it around the world using tankers emitting eve more pollution.

Do the windfarms have to do a full environmental assessment of the impact of every MWh of electricity they generate, or the impact of mining the copper and other metals used to make the damn things?

So when Putin or the mad men in the Middle East or (Washington if the moron Trump wins) turn off the taps the UK is screwed and people will be freezing to death. Sadly it won't be the clowns in the Supreme Court or Whitehall that suffer as with their gold plated pensions and benefits they're insulated from this.

Wow I never thought it would come, the judgement on the Weald action group Vs UKOG.

Not that it means anything for UKOG, they broke down long ago but as a landmark case for future companies in the UK and anyone wanting to get oil out of Finch's backyard.

Money on who wins, UKOG or the Weald action group, or will there be concessions for both?

I'm thinking a win for Finch, the headline value is priceless -

'Underdog beats UDOG in round ten'
'UDOG made to wear a mussel'
'A dog day for UDOG'

Please feel free to add your own.

And there's the late sell for the second tranche of the converted payday loan shares, being sold before admission to market yet again. 180,000,000 on Tuesday plus 138,095,238 today totals to the exact same number in the RNS.

There it is again, big late trade yesterday and loan reduction the next. Agaim it looks like they are selling the shares from the CLN before they are admitted and before the conversion is notified to market.
