Another chance to top up at 1.35 yesterday and I was tempted to buy more but topped up days ago at 1.35, I am sitting on the sidelines on any drop further and if it does it will be short lived so i might just put an order in just for the cheek of it.

I think oil price will jump up and with it all oil stocks.

"SUPPORTERS and opponents of a bid to drill for oil under a woodland site near Rowlands Castle have been given more time to make their case to planners.
Bosses at UK Oil and Gas Investments (UKOG) have been granted permission by the South Downs National Park Authority to amend their proposals for Markwells Wood."

I don't think $10/$20 a barrel profit will be "substantial".

"The HH-1 flow tests in February and March 2016 were an outstanding success. .....Approximately 1,940 barrels of crude in 14 road tankers were delivered to the Fawley Oil Refinery, which was a significant milestone for the Company."

yep 31.2% of 1940 barrels when POO was between $36 and $40 (below break even point)

Markwell's Wood

'aving a laff

1400 objection so far and 500 still to process. A well organised programme by someone.

Comment:
The Angling Trust objects to this application due to insufficient safe guards to prevent pollution of the chalk aquifer. The unique status of chalk streams and the threat of pollution means that every safeguard should be in place to guard against accidental spillage of chemicals assessment of this risk is not possible as the chemicals to be used have not been disclosed.
Indeed there is nothing in the application that ensures that the aquifer will not be polluted and this needs to be addressed.

Lol, and 2018 full production timing at HH fits perfectly with their development plans, with the extended flow tests throughout 2017 on permit approval expected Q1 2017 and subsequent applications for the production license on successful results, and of course no such delay at Brockham with production license already in place. Gla holders OGA and HSE approval and start date for Brockham sidetrack imminent. ;-)

Interesting quote on UKOG lse bb;

"Not sure why they are on here. UKOG is in the same position as normal PI's. They have shares in Angus not in Brockham or Lidsey oilfields so they only gain financially if they issue a dividend.
I don't think they have thought it through very well but just my opinion.
OK, so they have more shares than I do but they don't have anyone on the board and have the same voting rights as me."

I can't see Angus issuing a divy in the next few years IMO.

Full extract from what was said in the FT

UK Oil & Gas Investments

Untapped opportunities still exist in the UK’s small pockets of conventional onshore oil and gas, which can be accessed without fracking. In February, UKOG made headlines after successful test drilling near Gatwick airport in Surrey revealed “significant quantities” of oil.

Stephen Sanderson, chief executive, said he was confident the so-called “Gatwick gusher” would be producing oil by the end of 2018. While shale resources may offer a bigger opportunity, Mr Sanderson said the geological, legal and political obstacles to unlocking them made conventional exploration a safer bet. “Life is too short to battle people over fracking,” he said.

2018. yep, 2018

Where is the income going to come from?

Fine and dandy Gismo and looking forward to an imminent Rns or two, although aching from this mornings footie and working on the extension, should be ready for Christmas and maybe results from Brockham's sidetrack. Ukog's current share price is an absolute bargain imho. Gl ;-)
