I think I may have got it wrong. I don't think the application for drilling has gone in and have been misled by the good Doctor.
I see from one of his "Public Representations" that he refers to the "SCOPE dated 2nd August" so he may have thought that was it.

Trot off to the ALBA board then!!! I see you bought shed loads before the placing. Sounds familiar! But then again you never did think a placing was coming as they were "fully funded".

temmujin---please do not be so pessimistic, the UK is still going to need bags of oil and gas, long long way off when we can say Nuclear is overtaking need for fossil fuels---keep the faith.

MONEYMUNCH---you may remember me from LSE, where I got rapped over the knuckles? ( Thats why I am not there!) I am here now--tell good old DOOSE he needs to change Brokers. HL seem to be way behind other brokers regarding DOR--I have had my notification last week and the allocation is showing on my portfolio--I am with TDWaterhouse.
Interesting the various takes on UKOG and what is in place and what is recoverable---the piece hxxp://euanmearns.com/the-gatwick-gusher/---is indeed from Feb this year and does not take into account the further NUTEC reports and those yet to come. I think that folk will take note more when RECOVERABLES are better known, and it is my (VERY NOVICE) belief that as time goes on with more technology becoming available more oil WILL be able to be recovered. Also my belief that we on the verge of GREAT things and at last getting big returns on our punts---you see DOR gradually rising even though it is on ISDX----certainly testing our patience!!

"Duration of the licence

6.—(1) Subject to paragraph (2) below, the Secretary of State shall ensure that—

(a)a licence only grants an entity exclusive rights for the period which is necessary for the proper performance of the activities authorised by the licence; and

(b)the duration of the licence does not exceed the period necessary to carry out the activities authorised by the licence.

(2) The Secretary of State may extend the term of a licence if—

(a)the terms and conditions of the licence permit an extension of the term;

(b)the licensee has performed its obligations in accordance with the terms and conditions of the licence; and

(c)the term of the licence has proved, or is likely to prove, insufficient for the licensee to complete the activities authorised by the licence."

Personally I don't think they have a leg to stand on but I'm sure some will argue just on the principal of it. But then again I did read the regulation before commenting unlike some who just spout off for the sake of it.

The Planning and Development application for Markwell's has gone in but has not yet reached the SDNP website. Apparently details were given out during a Parish Council meeting on the 13th.

Lol...Sling your hook!!! Ukog still have close to £5m cash in the bank i reckon, and so plenty of funds for their near term development plans, which could result in a significant revenue stream early next year from the sale of the test oil from HH's planned extended flowtests. Gla holders.....Ukog's share price could be in double figures by the time any placing arrives if early indications on the extended flow tests confirm Nutech and Schlumberger's multi-billion barrel assessment, by which time a Major could come knocking. ;-)))

Things beginning to liven up. All this is just my opinion. DYOR.

Holmwood limited to £1.8m costs.
HH PFT for a year could be anything up to £2m gross working on principal Angus had to pay back £200k for 10% stake in last ewt over 43 days. UKOG cash call could be between 31 and 48% depending if Magellan are included so anything up to £1m approx (worst case scenario). The Magellan finals gave a clue, or did it, when it said "pursuant to which agreement the Company’s costs in relation to these licenses are 100% carried by HHDL until production and including costs related to conducting certain flow tests" which differs from previous statements made by the company. Not sure what "certain flow tests are".
They need to get a shift on at HH as can see a placing in the New Year now, more so if they push on with Broadford, Baxters, IOW and Godley. 3D, consultants and directors don't come cheap either!
Off to Singapore for GP after spending two weeks in Belgium and Italy and hardly had time to settle at home. I do love Belgian beer and Italian wine but the stalls in Singapore serve up some quite unique dishes. Gone are the days of crawling through the monsoon ditches on the way back to the ship!!!
