Money munch why base it on npv and what has this to do with pricing in the sp?I was going by the poo and % for ukog in their licences ÷ by shares in issue. ...Can you elaborate a little on npv and why it is important to use by the MM on valuing ukog share price.. would like to hear your thoughts on this cheers bud.Ps: the smart money is accumulating now me thinks ;-)

SS's take on the acquisition of Angus Energy's 7.8% interest back in April. Gla ;-)

"We paid £1.8 million for that so when you look at that in terms of cost per barrel of potentially recoverable resource, that's very cheap, it's sort of 23 cents to 45 cents a barrel, that's very very low which is good if you're acquiring.

I think people should understand that when we move this project forward in the next 6-18 months where we actually prove that we have commercial resources and reserves here that value per barrel is going to move significantly upwards so adding a lot more value to the company and to these assets. Looking at other assets in the basin and looking at other assets in the world which have very similar sort of rocks and performances to our Horse Hill Kimmeridge limestones.

I think it's not beyond the realms of possibility that when we get to proven probable reserve we'll be looking at in the range of $5-10 per barrel net present value so you can see that having paid only cents on the dollar with something that ultimately that has value in dollars up to $10 a barrel is a very good move and if people stay in for the long term, and long term being 6 months to a year to 18 months which is not that long, then they could see very significant returns I think."

Lol, free flowing high quality oil beyond all expectations, the sweetst crude in massive volume, isn't pie in the sky.....gla holders.....re-rate in progress and full market appreciation for a world class oil discovery which will undoubtedly be of special interest to Theresa May and her new Govt. in providing home grown energy security for an independent UK Plc and potentially billions of £'s in revenue. ;-)

From the FT, 3rd Sept,

"The one analyst offering a 12 month price target expects UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC share price to rise to 8.70 in the next year from the last price of 2.08"

I'm willing to wait a year for 8.7p thank you FT analyst.

Completion of acquisition of Further Interest in Horse Hill-1 Discovery and Licenses, Weald Basin, UK

Further to the RNS dated 22 July 2016 regarding the agreement to acquire the entire 3.9% interest of Flowermay Limited ("Flowermay") in onshore Weald Basin licences PEDL137 and PEDL246 ("the Licences"), UK Oil & Gas Investments PLC (London AIM and ISDX: UKOG) announces that acquisition has now been completed.

Transaction Summary

For a total consideration of GBP1 million, the Company has received a 3.9% beneficial interest in the Licences via the purchase of Flowermay's remaining 6% shareholding in Horse Hill Developments Ltd ("HHDL"). The total Consideration, with an effective date of 21 July 2016, is comprised of GBP150,000 payable in cash and GBP850,000 in the form of 50,981,799 new ordinary shares in UKOG ("Consideration Shares").

UKOG has applied for the admission to trading on AIM and the ISDX Growth Market of 50,981,799 new ordinary shares ("New Shares") in the Company. Trading of the New Shares is expected to commence on or around 12 September 2016 ("Admission"). Following Admission, the Company's issued share capital will consist of 2,547,634,099 ordinary shares ("Ordinary Shares"), with no Ordinary Shares held in treasury. Therefore, shareholders may use the above figure of 2,547,634,099 Ordinary Shares as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest, or a change to their interest, in UKOG under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.

and STG flying and Alba looking like great value on their 9.75% interest at HH and 5% of Brockham and tiny market cap, although I would say that as a holder of Alba as well as Ukog. Gl Excitement building and momentum-driven upside. :-))))
