03/3/2015 08:26 | P1nkfish - do you view this as a +ve or -ve? Refocusing management attention versus loss of product line and associated revenues? Any ideas of the materiality of dumping this product line? | brummy_git
03/3/2015 07:45 | The solutions they are dumping were fanfared in 2012 for GE SmallWorld etc. This is not small news and looks liked released erroneously. The website will be missing some stuff. web updated needed. | p1nkfish
02/3/2015 23:26 | I think this should have had an rns. Now pulled of the website but availaible elsewhere. Found via news app. | p1nkfish
12/2/2015 09:00 | Where is this company going ? Since their IPO @180p nearly 4 years ago - when sales were circa £27m and they were breaking even - they have failed to increase their overall business despite subsequent acquisitions. Sales last year were still £27m and they posted a loss of £1.6m and although sales increased by 40% in H1 this year, this was exceeded by a 58% increase in operating costs resulting in a 40% increase in losses to a record level of £2m at the interims. The shareprice is currently just above half of their IPO prioe in June 2011 and the market cap has fallen by almost 40% from £38.6m to £23.8m. How does the CEO still retain his position in presiding over a such a disastrous performance? This has been on my watchlist for sometime but I have not been tempted to invest. Will existing long suffering shareholders be taken out at some point by a devalued takeover or will they inject some new management and turn this company around ? The jury on this remains out and so do I ! | masurenguy
31/10/2014 17:24 | Someone is giving up hope that the management here know how to get a shareholder return. Looks peculiar. 1M traded yesterday and down like a stone today. Not good. Not good at all. Won't join the pantheon of Cambridge successes at this rate. | p1nkfish
28/10/2014 14:35 | so much for yesterdays news. no interest at all and its not all down to the state of the markets. ubi have dropped the ball in terms of ir imho. | p1nkfish
13/10/2014 09:36 | yes working cap unreasonably high | mrpotatohead
08/10/2014 14:14 | Lets hope they catch the eye of a group to get a return. No good being in love with technology for the sake of it unless it serves the interests of shareholders. Ubi is not serving shareholder interests well. | p1nkfish
08/10/2014 08:35 | Unless there is a takeover, I can't see the shares going anywhere given UBI's strangely high cash burn thanks to its 20-25% working capital as a percentage of sales. | brummy_git
07/10/2014 13:46 | With a bit if luck a Siemens, Honeywell or GE will look to buy-out this bunch. Read recently Ubi may be looking for other acquisitions but if they need to raise capital at this share price it will lead to further dilution. The last "look" at acquisition went nowhere but cost the shareholders. | p1nkfish
01/10/2014 15:28 | Reason for the rise today is Canaccord Genuity has reiterated UBI as a buy. Should drop back tomorrow then. | she-ra
29/9/2014 13:59 | agree p1nky - this could be bottoming out | mrpotatohead
16/9/2014 12:58 | Not a peep on the results today. Very quiet pbb, probably a good sign. Not too pleased to see the money wasted an an aborted acquisition idea. The rest is more or less as could be expected with H2 uplift likely due to weak £, H1 having suffered from strong £. Move to s/w and services is helping margins as expected. No fireworks for another 6 month at least. | p1nkfish
26/8/2014 23:59 | What might the price suggest for the next set of results? | p1nkfish
22/8/2014 14:54 | I think a larger holder is reducing at every opportunity. Probably lost confidence in management strategy or chance of near term return? | p1nkfish
18/8/2014 17:01 | Well todays news didn't generate much interest. The take away is that the market wants to see numbers not just news and Ubi have exhausted what a pure RNS with no numbers can do for the share price. Time to prove delivery or languish. | p1nkfish
18/8/2014 07:40 | New confract but no mention of value. Could these 'no value mentioned' deals be do e at loss to get in the door? Would hope not but wouldn't be surprised and perhaps that is why the share price is tanked. Even smacks of some desperation to release when the share price is so weak and August. | p1nkfish
04/8/2014 17:01 | Technology was. Looks let down by management. Certainly they have some special tech. Where's the business though to justify the cost base? Did themselves no favours by CEO blabbing they would be the next $1Bn Cambridge company, that's if I remember correcty. Last finding round had bad impact thereafter. Hope that stops the from doing it again else it will be more downdraught and dilution. Ruffer moved out? | p1nkfish
04/8/2014 13:39 | Trading at 2015 pe of 536..yes you read it correctly...negative cash flow and order levels nothing to write home about. What is the attraction here? | nurdin
04/8/2014 13:29 | Well we need to start to see results given the time passed since listing, money since raised and increasing cost base. Where's the catalyst? | p1nkfish
30/7/2014 08:57 | Company has undertaken a clean up operation over the past 6 to 12 months. I'm in. GL me..... | mrpotatohead
29/7/2014 21:11 | What catalyst? Something needs to attract money this way. | p1nkfish
29/7/2014 15:47 | Time for a decent bounce. | mrpotatohead
13/7/2014 23:41 | It placed at £38.6M market cap and I could see this going back to that or below. The market is not too convinced no matter what they announce as news. | p1nkfish
13/7/2014 23:34 | They placed at 220p in April, >£4M. 3 months later it's a ski slope down through 180p. Mgt doing very well indeed. I think they will be back for more money imho. Once a company like this gets money too easily it will be back for more. | p1nkfish |
