It does appear that their are a load on new posters that are panicking about the prospect of this doing well. So maybe there were big shorts open before suspension? Not sure but if they did manage to open short positions then they might be in panic mode..I've no idea but Monday will be very interesting to see which way it goes..I've only got 6 million shares so doesn't matter either way really...GLA hope Monday goes of with a bang!

As you are an ignorant coward, motivated by fear (not of me but of what others might learn from me) and personal greed - don't pretend you are trying to protect others this is all about your shares and what you think you can make for yourself, then time will tell which of us karma has its (not it's which is short for it is) claws into and which of us is a loser.

I have no position (long or short) in SPC and have no intention of taking a position (long or short) in HELD. You clearly, through ignorance, took a long position in SPC and have had your money tied up for at least 15 months and at best you have a 50%, but probably a lot less, paper gain having taken an enormous gamble. Seeing how karma does get you is more than enough motivation for me to be here posting what I like when I like and where I like, until it does. The only thing I won't do, because that is what real scumbag trolls do, is stalk you round other BBs you post on.

Do you have any evidence what so ever that it was even possible for anyone to short SPC at any stage prior to suspension - it really is not a good idea to short stocks that are going to suspend so I seriously doubt it was even possible.

They all seem to have their own strengths and weaknesses. TDWaterhouse now ii have always done pretty well for me. I would hope, given the GM was on Mon and trading does not start until Mon, that would be enough time for the more inept ones to get their act together. Time will tell as it always does. Best of luck whatever you decide to do.

Andy and SK,Only thing I would add re first day trading is that in my experience Barclays are pretty slow at ticker changes and new listings being added to their system. Hence I'm not expecting to see much change on my SPC ISA holding for a few days...Best wishes,G.

Stock suspended over a year

4 or 5 posters here during that period with sometimes no post for weeks if not months…
Now as we get close to relist…
One posts with no stock , no desire to buy stock , but posting on a dead bb???

Why???

Need the holders who have held to sell out on relist???

Shorts who usually right on aim stocks ie they will fall over after suspension…
Problem here this one has survived against all odds???

So their bet is on wrong side of boat and they need sellers to get out??!

Otherwise no reason to post???

It's what these BB should be for (the experienced helping the less experienced avoid totally avoidable and potentially very costly mistakes), unfortunately there are too many idiots, like my cowardly stalker who ruin them.
