wrtmf/Puzzler2. That's what the wording is designed to make you think but the email from Peter Jay doesn't say that. Read it again but with a cynical eye - it could just as easily mean the BoD have approved the contents of the prospectus, ie., in a format that meets the FCA's stated conditions for relisting to the main market.

The "final details" still being worked on by the BoD and its advisors "before convening the EGM" refer directly, imo, to completion of the approvals process so until PJ officially tells us we've cleared the FCA hurdle then consider ourselves still under the cosh. It doesn't take six weeks to fix a date for an EGM.

On top of that we're now being told mid to end of September - yet another six weeks! I'd love to think / believe the FCA were out of it but I'll lay odds against them having approved our prospectus, hence the continued silence from PJ.

Fair point wrtmf, if "the contents of the prospectus have been approved" means that the FCA have no further involvement in the company's re-listing.

It's not going to happen - FCA are all on holiday / working from home / not interested.

fast approaching 12 weeks and no official comms with all shareholders, just a couple of shared emails. tomorrow is the last day for any possibility of an august listing.

I agree, Jangaman. Whether this delay is down to incompetence, laziness, complexity or whatever, the fact is the markets have been pants recently and cannabis is still a relatively unloved sector. I would far rather we relist on a tide of optimism around the sector and away from the silly season. We don't want a damp squib if it can be avoided. For this reason, I feel our investment is, by accident, being protected rather than exposed to current market uncertainty. Let's see this relist at the equivalent of 1p+ rather than disappearing back towards 0.3p. Waiting a bit longer I see as being in our favour. Others may disagree, of course!

It's not an IPO

It's probably more to do with the fact that the appetite for listings / IPOs has fallen off of a cliff recently due to the falling market / poor economic outlook. It's much better to wait until after the summer when markets move on from peak pessimism, perhaps?

Puzzler.. agreed , I'm afraid it's typical for quangos to pay high salaries to those who can't make it in the private sector .. because in the private sector there is performance criteria and they immediately get found out . So they go to the public sector , put their feet up .. have a few coffees whilst commercial enterprises scream in frustration at delays .. and they could not care less .. and it's not just the FCA , it's so typical of allgovt agencies .

This delay is a direct consequence of one of the many inefficient public sector quangos, in this case the FCA. All paid high salaries regardless of any measured performance criteria and therefore no incentive to get anything done efficiently - hopeless.

an announcement here by the 17th would pave the way for relisting in august. 1 jul they were working on final details - post 1201. can't be much longer now?

I genuinely hope your RTO then IPO works out for you guys.

I use SPC as 1 of 4 examples of why the risk / reward balance of AIM rule 15 shells does not make sense:

I genuinely welcome any comments you have on that thread - it is not too late for them yet.
