Last couple of days an opportunity of a lifetime was presented to any one who missed buying below 15p.

I'm glad I added at 16p. Roll on 20p first and rest will watch watch it go to 25p.

Economies will open slowly around the world then rest will watch it go over 30p then 35p suddenly before you know it it will hit 57p

2008 tlw dropped to 350p then it went to 1600p. 1600p was spouted as rubbish. They also didn't bring in rahul so Tlw go bust few months after his appointment.

Was that with less share allocation?

Nice return if you bought in under 10p or averaged down, and tullow does get back to 100p plus.

Asset sale plus cost cutting and we will soon be 100p plus at some point in 2021

No position. Just a trader with an interest more generally in the oil sector and the debt economy. Got caught here on the big drop but then bought at 13p and sold near the recent high to escape break even. Have no intention to take a position here either way at the moment so will leave you all in peace

Cheers Nicksig.... You did make me laugh... :-)

Isnt it nice that we can agree to disagree. I am no more an expert than you are, and we both see different sides, predominantly because we are both involved and associate with different people from different sectors of society.
The Oil glut you refer to with immediate effect is in the USA.
China is still wiping up all it can. Emerging economies are crying out for more and will do and we have not seen the unprecedented cuts from OPEC take effect yet.

Impending famines, all world disasters require Oil to help.
Whether it be for transportation, infrastructure, development, design and manufacturing. All require oil.. Its only the Greta Brigade who seek to deny those that dont have it of ever having it.. :-( (Which is extremely selfish)

There is certainly an oil glut at present.. That is absolute...
But what does tomorrow bring?
We can only go on facts we know and those facts include that economies are starting to relax restrictions and manufacturing is about to restart with a vengeance.

As for I was Pumping this at over £1.00.... Really? I was certainly saying in my opinion it was worth well north of £1.00, and guess what? I still believe that.. When forming an assumption of worth I tend to add up the sum of parts and make a decision from that. I therefore firmly believe that the assets of TLW even in a fire sale would value the company at well north of £1.00 a share.
I look at it like this... Wanna buy a £5.00 note Guv... I only want £1.00 for it.
How many of you would turn this offer down because you believe there must be a catch? Its you that then miss out.

Nick-try stating something new and original-we know all that tosh-already in the price but being hedged sufficiently for the next two years to carry it through, along with impending asset sales, is what punters are looking at and if/when poo recovers to $50 which is where the US, Putin and SA want it then Tlw today will look very cheap, esp if they get the debt down with an asset sale or two.

Glad I've made you laugh whites. But you were pumping this at over 100p and if you think oil is going to rise significantly in the short term I think you are mistaken. There is currently a glut of oil, so much so that we could see all storage facilities full and companies paying to have oil taken off their hands. There will be no supply shortage imo. The problem as I see it is that so many mid- to major companies are overrun with debt. Look at the balance sheets of practically all FTSE companies to see how this is grown exponentially since the last crisis, it is extraordinary. One of the main problems of the oil industry is its hugely expensive infrastructure, and with declining demand it is not well positioned to cope with another major recession. It's unclear how far coronavirus has spread through Africa, but there are already news stories about other major problems such as impending famine. Does this all want to make me invest in TLW? No. But good luck to you and those that do

I think patience will be rewarded.
It is a sad state of affairs to read of deaths every day and stabbings.
Especially when you just need to visit a cancer ward and see people so desperate to hang on to life. Sectors of society so far apart.

World economies are poised to restart with earnest.
I 100% agree, 6 months, 12 months, 18 months isnt a long time in the grand scale of things to wait. As long as the world survives. :-)
The comment of £5... Why would that be considered unreasonable? Its not unreasonable at all, in fact it is extremely possible.

Oil shortages are certainly on the cards once economies restart.
Rig closures across the states will ensure that, as the largest economy restarts with a vengeance.

I guess by trolls whites means anyone that disagrees with him? You don’t have to be a ‘Greta junkie’ to see that oil is going nowhere in the short term.

I dont label anyone who disagrees with me as a Greta Junkie. That accolade is reserved for those hypocrites who use and benefit from modern technology to try and deprive others of the very same. In fact Greta herself and the mice that blindly follow her.
Fabulous comment you make: Oil is going nowhere in the short term... And you say that whilst we have 20% swings in a single day. And a monthly movement of over 50%... Thats one hell of a statement to make... LOL
