How excited are investors, difficult to get up a head of steam at the moment however we may see a new CEO introduced ,A new production well in service Ntomme field, an update on production and cost reductions and staff levels.farm down/asset sale update!
At some point Tullow will have to think about the Carbon footprint as many companies are getting focused .

How excited are investors about the age on Thursday? It could be a non-event if they don’t announce anything new and just agree to routine resolutions on auditors etc

Just to clarify hedging - reference Tullow Oil 2019 results.

60% of 2020 sales revenue hedged with a floor of $57/bbl; 40% of 2021 sales revenue hedged with a floor of $53/bbl

Find an asset sale or a farm down quickly and I agree with you. We need something to get the debt down and underpin the company and reduce risk
Whats the plan if Uganda is not concluded in the next few months? Its been circa 3 years!and not a good time now.

Tullow will not go bust, Italy is already starting some industry and manufacturing, Spain is starting to re open schools, Germany is over the worst, its just that in the Uk we are a month or so behind so we see it differently. If anything Tullow is well placed to be ahead on the re start.

Those still standing at the end will do very well and if they can pick up cheap busted companies along the way even better

It's also not so much when or if Tullow will go bust but more about how many go bust before them as that reduces supply and increases prices for those that are left.

The average brent price in march Was 33,5$...

What oil price did tullow get with it's hedging?

Tullow announced that they got 30 Mio $ on hedging revenue for march in the rbl update. Look at the following calculation to find the real average oil price tullow got for their oil in march:

75 000 bopd x 33,5$ x31days =77 900 000$

If you add the announced 30 Mio on top you get 107,9 Mio $ income for march divided by 75 000 bopd...

107 900 000$ : 75 000bopd :31days = 46,4$ per barrel.

So after they got over 60$ per barrel in january and february which they also officially announced they are cash positive for the 3rd month in a row with their officially announced 35$ barrel breakeven price for the year.

Looks pretty fine at the moment!
I didnt calculate in that they normally get a slight bonus on brent for their sulfur low oil!

Stay long, this company wont go bancrupt, as they are still cash positiv even under the recent circumstances.
