We are a long way away from admin... more likely at this stage is a low ball takeover by Samuel....

I'm a bit worried about TLW being taken into admin by the self made CEO Dor. She did say break even was $45 to cover all liabilities. If low prices persist even with the hedging in place they may not meet liabilities without further reduction in exploration/jobs... Also in latest results, wellbeing of shareholders wasn't even mentioned once! She's either made a deal with private equity, or wanted to throw all dearth now, with only good news to follow. Hope it's the latter!

Dont know.....Jordan/Israel and many other countries would support Saudi against Iran....... we will have to see how this low oil price hurts Iran, how badly.

Getting worried that we haven’t heard from amaretto, Leon, and Sbb1x.
Guys don’t do anything stupid, we’re here for you.

Thats the big bear in the room. If Iran has nothing to lose, then all out direct war with Saudi might be their only option which drags Russia and the US into direct conflict.

It's far too early for Saudi's to negotiate now as they would only damage themselves without inflicting lasting damage to shale & Russia. They'll wait a couple of more months for shale to go to the wall (the weakest party). Unless of course Hutis/Iranians don't persuade them to otherwise.

Indeed other companies across the board are seeing government intervention, this will be critical as we come out of this madness

The oil industry needs and should get government/OPEC intervention and protection whilst Covid is around. If not there will be ruination and a rocketing oil price the other side of Covid.

Canada shut nearly half its rigs last week and not sure if companies are going to the wall or just turning rigs off. Interesting to read how intervention is being discussed in Canada:

Interesting chart taken from Twitter, cannot comment on the accuracy but it shows a good spread of how valuations are per flowing barrel of oil.

Yes. Many more.
An unsung hero of many and others like cumnor wish they were him. Pity though, cumnor is a conspiracy theorist, the sort of person that believes his own shadow is following him.
