A few million share buy orders getting filled and watch this rise. Many people were trying to guess the bottom but as it kept going lower it created a waterfall effect taking the price down even lower, looking for 18s short term

Looks good for today nice gap up likely on most stocks. Markets recovered hard overnight as China gets nearly completely back to normal

"The best cure for low oil prices is low oil prices, always has been and always will". Maybe SA and Russia also had demand destruction in mind I.e. Make POO cheap as chips, mitigate massive drop in demand....when recovery kicks in, back to negotiating table ....oil soars, shale in decline etc.

From LSE..1- Encouraging numbers coming out of China & Korea and measures taken by rest will yield positive results.2- Russia & Saudi Barbaria's economy is heavily reliant on oil, they will have to come to some sort of agreement.3- Every downturn is followed by growth and every sector of economy will need huge amounts of oil to facilitate that growth.

JPMorgan Asset ManagementMon 22:11Its challenges have not deterred all investors. Last week JPMorgan Asset Management disclosed it had built a stake of more than 5 per cent in the company, according to regulatory filings. Tullow declined to comment on the stake.https://www.ft.com/content/5da86a66-654b-11ea-b3f3-fe4680ea68b5 Nice resume: "They're pretty well-hedged for the short term. They can weather price falls easily," said David Round, an analyst at BMO Capital Markets. But he added: "The question is how long this goes [on] for."Tullow is hedged for a pretty long time I would say.

Hi Leon,

My thoughts have been, Dorothy wants nothing to do with McDade and is clearing the path for success. However, bringing the write down to $2billion seemed excessively pessimistic. A CEO needs to be optimistic to a degree.

Fwiw, I think she's playing by the book to establish a baseline. If tullow completes rbl and is still a going concern in two weeks, I'd find it very hard not to buy more...

Tough times for holders but life is more than just money.
