TornadotonyPosts: 512Price: 13.315No OpinionRE: Break evenThu 20:43The hedging in January was zero for say 6,500 barrels. The company did not identify February hedging but said it was $60 a barrel for both months. I believe 18 days of hedge was used for say 78,000 barrels a day which I suspect could be a target achieved. The net price for 13,000 barrels was $60 In January and February. The company can now run on hedge for 191 days for $57.5 a barrel. This takes us to 8 September with an average sales price of say $58 a barrel. If anyone believes Brent can be kept near $30 as we approach end of Q3 does surprise me but for the sake of argument lets say its $35.75 the company is at breakeven for all its production for an entire year. If oil price recovered to $42 the profit is $59M for the year.I produce this as some individuals are posting wrong data. You can correct down to 75,000 but they are hitting 95% up time and I have allowed for the odd slippage.

Jugears, footballers kept playing football and fans kept going to football matches without showing a great concern.. guess what happened?? Now we have 1 or 2 players who caught the virus , now most games being abandoned.. soon all pubs, nightclubs, restaurants, cinema, swimming pool will be all closed..

Great post Ally. If people go jogging at -10 degree Celsius, yes they would die ..🤣🤣 some people don't do research and has no business head..

Can someone please tell me how much TLW is worth today??? Are they worth more than there debt of £2billion?? Would like to know the answer.

It's most likely to go bust because debts is way to high given tullow market cap is 10 times lower than debt.

100% of people who jog die within 150 years. Jogging is killing people.

If you are short or want to get in at a lower price, fine but please use logic, reason and facts when posting.

I personally hope they survive, but the longer this coronavirus drags on globally, the higher the chances are that a lot of weak companies will go bust.. let's not forget that a lot of strong companies will also got weakened in the meantime and will not fork out big take over cash..

Tlw's loss is die to accounting impairments and writedowns. They actually made a profit and 355 million FCF. Yep, will be limited this coming year, but that is where asset sales come in.

Remember what putin says about the United kingdom, it's just a small island. Yes, British people are not scared, it's because they have a low sense of prevention awareness.
Because of that , UK infected people numbers has risen 10 folds or more in the past week.

Anyway, did you not read TLW made a $1.6billion loss for 2019?? That's spell big trouble not?? How are they going to pay off their debt?? Best easy way is to go into admin ..

ICAC you say that but its not stopping people from going out spending, I went to our local pub at the weekend & standing room only, I went to a retail park today & my local cash & carry & it was busy as normal, People are still going on holiday & travelling, What you forget is that we British don't panick like the rest of the world, life carries on. When it does come to an end I think you will find the Brits are raring to go shopping & get out. It will have a knock on financial effect but just like the financial crisis the fittest of companies will survive & the weakest won't!

Post of the day LSEThe bottom line is if you think oil will stay at 30-40 $bbl for 18 months and Tlw will not be able to effect an asset sale in that time period then you are right to assume this is toast. You pays your money and you takes your choice
