Crikey the tide went out a bit and the frackers and their banks have no swimsuits on. They will be begging OPEC to restrict their supplies. Could be where OPEC get the 4th Ace.

Benny shares, to my knowledge Total are not interested in Tullow - what evidence do you have to the contrary/ Even if they are interested, why would I sell my shares to them without a premium - I can just sell them on the open market?

Heard this on Bloomberg:

Occidental Petroleum did a $38 billion acquisition of Anadarko Petroleum.

Occidental+Anadarko combined tonight worth less than $38 billion.

I have a niggling question... Barclays analysts have taken a more optimistic view, suggesting the shares might be good for a brave, risk-tolerant investor. They've given the shares a price target of 75p. The shares are currently less than 50p... This news was released at least a week ago before the coronavirus struck the weak hearted market, as you know Total are interested in the company but won't pay a premium because of this company's bad debts. The shares have declined significantly since then, my question... If Total were to make a bid, would they pay a premium?
