Summary

the data in all the flows ... mostly just holders dumping

Sure, could be undisclosed shorts but i doubt at more than 1%

SO you can look at buys that put some under 0.5

And assume some never above disclosure level

But all in all given the data in the dumping, for me anyway, shorts max 2.3% all in

Bootyycall there was not much shorting here

But if there was, it was fully justified

Why should Boards just get free reign with buyers only?

At least with shorters, they might feel accountable, and actually not try cover up stuff etc

No. I cant find it. But didnt look hard enough yet. Wouldnt mind elliot anyway. As likely to loan ot to shorters as hold lol. He conned vodafone investors a long while back. Well, not con but - id say it felt like it for them

Metro is pure punt. Its that kind of company and market cap

Risk spread is wide though. Fixed risk at 30% share price movement. However if it gets the news, def see a fast 120-150% in her. Be out that day

SentimentRules,

Oh well you must have made at least £100 here today so I suppose you can take a risk on METRO, not sure why you would want to.
Did you find out anything about Elliot Capital ?

1.31% on loan and some spovs with an algo can knock a former FTSE 100 down 15% in a couple of hours. One of the UK's major industries is city spivs"

And the clear majority of them voted Remain!!!

For the City was overwhelmingly Remain.

Sucked it up yet you loser?

Nearly all the headlines (major outlets) focused on the $1.5bn write-down, anyone notice that? Can't really blame the press, they love a big number and it was a bit strange for the company that they were sitting as an outlier on their valuations. There must be more to this, was there a justification to their higher valuations from their hedging program or were they really just out of touch with the oil price? I know it was mostly known about, but the optics of it don't look great.

90% return is available be it from 50p or 500p

If they see 50-90% return here - they will attack it

Leoneobull,

I agree the level is not too high and there can't be too much meat on the bone left here for shorts. It dropped really fast from the 140 level. If they short at 50 or below surely they are just going to be paying %age fees while it bumbles along and hopefully recovers.
Just my take but I wouldn't listen to me as I seem to have got this one very wrong so far !

leonbull,

It was 4.58% on loan end of December. The 1.3% is only positions above 0.5%
