Wodahsnoom 1st your credibility might be helped if you spelt the names correctly...secondly, remember that anyone with a brain knows that you are able to check Tullow view of production outlook by looking for corroborating views from their jv partners Komsos. Dorothy has kitchen sinked everything....just as Springfield have announced a whopper of a discovery in adjacent acreage. I suspect that the easy infill prospects on the licence and those next door in the Ivory Coast will now be being closely looked at....the darkest hour is just before the dawn.

Price might consolidate around 55p , but it will not take much news to take this up to 80p in my view in short order.

I'd bet that the departure of McDaid and McGoss is not related to Carapa.

McDaid and McGoss misled the board - there can be no other reason for their abrupt dismissal. If the news from carapa is good then it would be difficult to justify firing them then

I personally think they should have waited for carapa news before making announcement about the drop in production.

Trading statement came out on the 13th November and less then a month they issue a profit warning. Smells fishy to me. Plus why say the amount of barrels will drop from 89000 to 70,000, that information was better coming out in January.

Maybe they will persuade Bob Dudley to come in for year or so. He is retiring but might fancy a short contract. Imagine the share price reaction! For those who don't know, he is CEO of BP. This is not a serious suggestion by the way; just a what if!

Christmas has effectively been cancelled, as top executives face a tight turnaround to complete the review in January.

I hope they bring in a new face as CEO and not promote from within.Have the management cuts gone far enough ? what about the legal team?

In fairness, if there was good news there, unlikely mcdaid would have left? or is it?
