Instis riding this back up now. Market always over reacts in both directions so those with cash can now ride the wave back up complements of the deeps pockets.

For sure Corbyn and his Marxist cronies are unfit to run the Country. Lib Dem’s are finished after their nutty policy to revoke Art 50

Tories is the only sensible choice to move forward into the new decade with positively. Then markets and £ will rally restoring international investor interest in the UK during 2020 if Boris wins a sizeable majority

In the short term, fundamentals don't matter now....this is all about momentum as a stock recovers from an over reaction.

This stock is new to me, I know nothing about it apart from the last 3 days. I've just had a look at the fundamentals and they look fairly solid to be honest, EPS growth of 141.5%, PEG ratio of only 0.05%, price to book value 0.22, Low P/E ratio, etc etc.

The Dividend was generous, but that's been frozen (but for how long?).

70,000 BOPD min,

I don't think this is the dog some people make out.

That's two good sessions so far this week, at this rate we'll be in the 120p range by the end of next week. Another blue day tomorrow.

Apparently it takes months to test whether it’s heavy or light

That’s why tlw are too light on their management team

xxnjr,

Great post. Away on business and can't access my trading account. Great opportunity for new entrants but devastating to see this price. Who knows, there may yet be carapa news that doesn't smell like carapa.

RT AlignResearch "Interesting move in Tullow #TLW Late in the day. Word from City conections is that testing on Carapa has been ongoing for a few days. To quote one "you dont test water". Expecting run towards 60 tomo."

Stupmy, it is of course good to get both views, whether posters are invested or not, it makes no difference in my opinion, and you argue the bear case well

But that was a tough RNS and a whopper of drop in the share price for a FTSE 250 company.

It looks like a lot of investors did bail out but others think the company has been oversold and they have had a good day today so good luck to them if it works out.

With oil companies it is always a high risk. However I bought micro, the share price went down 50%.So there is no guarantee. If you are worried about loss invest into funds, you can sleep well at nights. LOL

I've lost 7.7k in this share, from what I've seen the recovery has been good. But scard to lose anymore on here. Really tempted jumping back in to recover my money. In a dielimer.

Bought in a few days back and already up
Cannot believe such a huge drop and seemed too much of a gift not to take a position in.
Hope the rise continues looking for double bubble and then I will leave the building.

Stumpy. You were not right, you did not predict anything correctly, what you actually did was troll a forum where there was much positivity looking for confrontation by spouting drivel.
No charts, no tea leaves, no divine intervention occurred.. What happened was there was a kicking out of the old guard and a frank clearing out of the dirty linen and the share price fell..
Stop losses..... For traders.. I have said many a time, I am not a trader, I am an investor.. A dying breed as is evidenced by you and your statements, that it has to be in out in out and brag it all about..
In a year I often return > 100% gains overall..
That is quite something and I am very proud of that.
In bad years I have returned as little as 40% but still a great way to make money as opposed to banking it.
You and many other "Fortune tellers" crave attention and you dear sir do it the best way.. Shout a contrarian view... Hedge your bets and then claim you got it right.
Tell us what tomorrows share price will be, and maybe also tell us what Fridays share price will be.
I will tell you right now, I have not got a clue, but I would say this.. If we get good news it will go up, if we get bad news it may go down... Hey... look at that... I can be just like you and claim to have gotten it right..

Whites does not get shaken off very easily does he?

Well done to you Whites, that was a cool headed and gutsy call and you might well be proven right here.

It sure looks like rumours of Tullow's demise have been greatly exagerrated.

Fingers crossed you get your exit price or whatever you are looking for.

re - Charts

You may not believe on them, but maybe you should ask why every platform you are using and the lot of them have the charting facility, and any comentator will tell you the Indicators are overbought or oversold ... catch a few or sell at this price. Maybe they know better than you.

You are making a big fuss about no one predicting the fall in the chart before the news.
Naturally you will have to be a fool to ask such a question or you already know the answer but not saying.

Any share will fall on any bad news, but if you add the other and other and yet more, that where announced on the RNS .... then add howmany Institutions decided to sell, and you will find out a lovely low price to get IN as I did.

Everyone is playing their way in order to make money, though as we all know too well, not allway works the way we expect, in this case TLW for the long term holders. Some will tell you you should have use the - STOP LOSS - (5 to 10%) not very clever of you if you did NOT.
Let the profit run, cut your losses come to mind.

It looks like you have put all the eggs on the same basket, I am reaching this conclusion as you only post on TLW since buying. A very wrong thing to do if that is the case.

The day's are gone when I was holding stocks and on 8 to 12 month lenth and I was managing to double their buying price or close to it.
It was buying on PE of 6 to 8 and selling on PE of 14 to 16 and sometimes 18, naturally were shares with high growth 30 to 40% at that time.

Now a decent rise of 15 to 20% on a short term and I will take it, and for that I am using the chart with the Indicators, and so far so good.

Good day to you

note: I hope you learn something new from someone with many decades of trading.
------------------------

I done some research and it looks like you are a few "£" down or around £80K (on buying around the 150p) no wonder your anguish

Stupmy - the reason you gave was mocked - if you remember correctly you claimed the share price collapse would be as a result of the 3rd well in Guyana... what has underpinned Tullows valuation was Ghana, Guyana was largely upside.
