21/11/2017 09:08 | The change in short positions look pretty modest nicebut, the peak was around 15% a few months back, and were now around 7.5% up perhaps half a percent. Could it be that tullow has suddenly become a leading indicator for the price of oil!? I did ask if anyone could explain the only $400m FCF in 2017 but I got no response. Having reread the announcement I think the company is being conservative (it looks like it was conservative on TEN) and it will be better than that. 2018 should be similar - new wells on TEN and Jubilee will not kick in properly until later in 2018 - but with 150m extra from Uganda farm out. Given the 20% price fall it's just as well the company didn't announce any bad news! | frazboy
21/11/2017 08:56 | Quite remarkable drop on no news- So all ii short have increased their positions except one. One could think they`re in it together...Must be ii dumping too. But no holdings RNS as yet... Seems to have totally unzipped from PoO too, unless PoO is going down of course. Hey ho- nothing goes down in a straight line either!! | nicebut
21/11/2017 08:52 | Fall here is ridiculous. | gregpeck7
21/11/2017 06:51 | Forcemode. Pmo has suffered from down days a lot more than tlw so a decent up day on good news being confirmed there shouldn't surprise anyone As for tlw when you watch the book on low volume days it is sooooo algo manipulated. I cannot see any material change since the excellent update | leoneobull
21/11/2017 06:48 | Sell-off overdone. Tlw normally bounces back quickly | leoneobull
21/11/2017 01:42 | PMO had a nice tick up Monday (ignoring their news which wasn't that significant) and yet we're down quite a bit, that's the worrying part for me. Something lurking? | forcemode
