22/1/2016 13:50 | I agree, i'm just a little bit jittery in this market and banking what i can. I've already lost £200 potential profit since i sold! If we see a small dip to about 140 i'm back in big, i fear i may not see that now though - up 18% now | langy_1
22/1/2016 13:50 | How can tlw have been worth 30% less than new year? And now 17% more than 430 yesterday? | paulbiya
22/1/2016 13:43 | I like what I'm hearing here. They'll be plenty chasing oil shares when they've banked too soon. Plus greedy shorters forced to close when they realise that the tide has turned. I've got a feeling that oil shares will rally quicker than most think. | mreasygoing
22/1/2016 13:40 | That is annoying and could be well what i've done here. | langy_1
22/1/2016 13:21 | It's also so annoying when you take profits way too soon when you have been waiting for a major correction ? | warwick69
22/1/2016 13:00 | Langy_1 You can't beat profit | cat100
22/1/2016 12:56 | Decided to do so in the end. I'll wait and see what happens this afternoon but will probably end up back in either way! | langy_1
22/1/2016 12:55 | That's probably what the shorts are hoping and they will keep selling for a while to encourage day traders to take profits !!! But maybe the same on oil and the huge number of open short positions will turn this into a major shake one we have not witnessed for some time oil could just as easily be $40 before the traders catch their breath | warwick69
22/1/2016 12:50 | I'm in two minds whether to sell at 150p and see if there is a retrace. It's a difficult one to call at the moment. | langy_1
22/1/2016 12:25 | Sold out the lot temporarily @ 147.8p (@ a loss) Do i think TLW worth £4? Yes. But knowing my luck it will pull back this pm so prefer to get back in when the profit taking kicks in | leoneobull
22/1/2016 12:07 | Tks Spirito I can get a bit carried away sometimes but try to read the bigger picture, I doubt this is more than a head fake rally, this article suggests caution... Ps. Charts show some resistance around 150p, probably see some profit taking, unless the crude rally continues but it's already up 6% ish. | ny boy
22/1/2016 12:00 | --- NY Boy 22 Jan'16 - 11:57 - 24431 OK, I wait for more topping opportunities, but from now on, it is unlikely | mr aboii
22/1/2016 11:57 | Mr Aboii, who knows you might get 100p if this is a dead cat bounce, not in these but made decent wedge on indices buying dips over last few days, I did say there could be a trades me bounce coming 🙄 Cashed in the chips into this market rally today, still not convinced it's for real, the market will tell me on Monday. | ny boy
22/1/2016 11:43 | Nicebut you likely to be right but that will help Tlw even more as people that are long on this will know that at some point they will have to close position I seem to remember that 50mil share were borrowed in one day at 180ish I'd this get to that level the holder may well want some back to sell. Clearly there is more pressure on shorter that few days ago, and somehow I believe that most people left on this are for the long hold, at least I hope so. Was 115 the bottom who knows but at 115 or 150 is still a buy and all around capex still reducing and will continue for next few years almost regardless the price of the oil as next 3 steps will be debit reduction, dividend and aquisition. This before and share buy back that many company will start in February Good luck | jovi1
22/1/2016 11:34 | I am not a Daytrader... Except for today! Got in at 5.9% Might sell today, keeping a keen eye on the oil prices, good job it's raining here, I normally hate staying in. | flyposter
22/1/2016 11:29 | He was wrong as well then. They've went up ever since! Well done on the smoking though. | langy_1
22/1/2016 11:26 | Langy_1 I wasn't the only one that could see it. Draghi saw it too | cat100
22/1/2016 11:25 | Some profit going to GENL. Catching up over there.... | smishman |
