Nocents, absolutely. 700 point rally off the lows today is pretty rapid turn around.

Hopefully a good day tomorrow. Throw in a decent OPEC cut and there should be a bit of interest in TRIN, there has been good buying interest recently other than on panic days like today.

I would like to add...from someone who remembers Oct 17th 2017 very very well ( Black Monday) that rebounds usually happen very very very quickly. I could list 10-15 equal rebounds since then. IMO this is not a true bear market as we never had an oil bull market since the last crash!! This is a political witches’ cauldren being played out.

To add for anyone looking to take a longer term view these are undoubtedly nearer the bottom than the top.

The hardest thing sometimes is to do nothing. But if you haven't sold further up I would do nothing. If you have sold further up I would also do nothing. If the wider market woes do develop into a full blown bear then the vast majority of stocks will fall over time, even if the investment case is solid. However the good will rebound far quicker once the dust settles. To sell now would be to line the MM's pockets.
TRIN are in a much better place than some. In hindsight they raised cash at the right time.

Good to see T&T is moving on at a pace with restructuring and sticking to stated timeframes.

The art of brinkmanship all over again. When it does work it works to a tee. You push and push what seems unacceptable and it leads the other party to soften.( When it fails it leads to the Cuban missile crisis!)
Trumpy is pressuring China to a tee. Works so far.I agree...could eaae the demand paranoia.
With oil .....so hard to know. It’s dropped 30% !!! Long way to go.The trade war has had more of an effect than oversupply ( although they are intertwined).Iran217;s unreal sanctions allowing continuing exports had the other supressing effect . All positive news but it’ll take time to scrabble up the ladder again.
Positive nees from Trinidad would be incendiary however. That’d send us into orbit.
All the best to all holders who have gritted teeth and hung on in there.

This may actually have a bigger impact on oil price.

That sale has a keen buyer. A lot of shares have been mopped up over the last few weeks. Pretty chunky sells seem to easily find a buyer with the price rising. A good sign.

Spellbrook, I don’t think that is why he has been appointed, as Bruce alludes to his M&A and financial strengths. Hopefully not, as TRIN kindly pointed out in their RNS, using his skills for winding up AIM oil companies.

Interesting appointment at a time we know T&T is looking to potentially partner the new Heritage Petroleum venture with private producers to boost T&T oil production. A little tail wind from WTI in the coming months and things may finally come together for TRIN.

Will be very hsrd to knowxwhen SPT kicks in Q1 2019 if we don’t know whether Trin selling at discount or premium ! Has always been $ 54.4.
Although Q4 2018 is a lost cause ( unless oil drops to $40 next week!) it’ll be hard to gauge profits next year. Q1 results don’t come out until late April.

$20,000,000

We are certainly stronger than a lot of our peers, and have the low cost base...

Luck or hindsight the share raise certainly makes one more comfortable as
We move forward debt free

This bodes well for minimising the discounts received in the past where 10% discount is not unusual to WTI. It could be the WTI price is in line with what we get once the new trading group take off a few $ handling fee.
