200k at 16.5p shows there is confidence in TRIN. There can’t be many as well balanced between financial security, profitability and the opertunity for large upside with T&T restructuring/projects in the pipeline.

I await 1st Dec. Heritage and all the other companies offshooting from Petrotrin which still exists. Will he really actually do anything?? SPT was a hot topic being discussed in 2013 when I first bought Trin! What’s changed???

totally agree Nocents, Imberts has played wait and see at the cost of boosting T&T 18 months ago. We have waited we have seen, maybe now is time for action with Heritage oil going live 1st Dec.

I agree. Oil in the fifties. Not good re. SPT but no debt and good cash. Others in Trin same position but not debt-free.Shale under pressure.Venezuela et al too. Trin will have lower profits Q3 but strong foundation and growing cheap onshore. Min 3200 bopd at sub 30 b/e. Maybe more. It’s SPT that’s killing T and T right now. Foolish govt.

Bought another 20,000 in 2 lots this morning. A relatively safe haven now with oil declining to expose some oilers depending on higher oil a price to sustain debt repayments (not a dig at TXP which is a different proposition). Lets see how the BOD use the strong position WE have put them in to the best advantage.

May well see 60 tomorrow. Pressure is all downward....true or not. The short time period involved questions real market dynamocs however( supply/demand). Nothing changed except Saudi and Russia “agreeing̶1; to allegedly pump more. Perceptions pf demand under threat but US/China may just be more posturing. Either way it looks like low for longer at the moment. But we know how events change very quickly in the manipulated world of oil prices. Not worth believing what politicians or media say so maybe tge market willbwise up at some stage.

Well WTI has been itching to test $60 and may well do it this week. $60 should be a support but it has smashed through a few strong ones already, with help of course....

Trump announces subjectivity of oil price. New interest perhaps as investors realize gap between price and the real world. Supply/ demand can pnly be controlled so much.Economics ( controversial as it may be) supports this.

Checks by Guardian Me­dia re­vealed that Her­itage Pe­tro­le­um LLC (Lim­it­ed Li­a­bil­;i­ty Com­pa­ny) op­er­ates as one of the largest in­de­pen­dent pe­tro­le­um dis­trib­u­tors in south­ern In­di­ana.

In­for­ma­tion from its web­site states that it of­fers a "range of ser­vices in­clud­ing fu­el man­age­ment and SMAR­Tank mon­i­tor­ing, Pa­cif­ic Pride com­mer­cial fu­elling, pipeline ser­vices, and emer­gency fu­el man­age­ment ser­vices".

It op­er­ates as a "full-ser­vice fu­el trans­porter and provider of fu­el prod­ucts, in­clud­ing pe­tro­le­um fu­els and al­ter­na­tive fu­els, oils, and lu­bri­cants. It al­so of­fers the Oil Analy­sis Pro­gram and has been in ex­is­tence for more than 50 years."

An email was sent to the Her­itage Pe­tro­le­um LLC ask­ing if there was any af­fil­i­;a­tion with the new­ly-formed Her­itage Pe­tro­le­um Com­pa­ny Lim­it­ed in T&T. How­ev­er, no re­sponse was forth­com­ing.

Sev­er­al at­tempts were made to con­tact Khan on his cel­lu­lar phone yes­ter­day to get an­swers but the calls went unan­swered. A What­sapp mes­sage was sent to Khan ask­ing the lo­ca­tion and date of the launch of the two new com­pa­nies which will re­place Petrotrin, but Khan re­spond­ed, "My un­der­stand­ing is that there is no launch to­day."

The Sun­day Guardian then asked whether 3,500 ca­su­al work­ers will get re­trench­ment pack­ages or fi­nan­cial as­sis­tance to deal with the job loss­es, but Khan nev­er re­spond­ed to the What­sapp mes­sage al­though it was read. He al­so de­clined to say how many work­ers will be re­hired by the Her­itage Pe­tro­le­um Com­pa­ny Ltd and the Paria Fu­el Trad­ing Com­pa­ny. The min­is­ter al­so de­clined to say whether it was co­in­ci­;den­tal that the Her­itage Pe­tro­le­um Com­pa­ny had the same name as the US-based com­pa­ny.
