DKL which covers a different type of oil looks like it's due for a similar rerating after what seem to be excellent results. I have held for a while. Am continuing to hold here and have not sold any as much more to come.Sorry for ot but it seems to be the done thing now. Dyor.

Yes looking pretty promising re oil, hopefully it now becomes a tale wind rather than the headwind we have had up until now

Oil prices are stable so far today, with OPEC pointing to a rebalancing market even as the U.S. looked forward to getting production back on track following Hurricane Nate. "There is clear evidence that the market is rebalancing," OPEC's secretary general Mohammad Barkindo says. "The process of global destocking continues, both onshore and offshore, with positive developments in recent months showing not only a quickening of the process but a massive drainage of oil tanks across all regions. OPEC and other producers are looking to create an extension of their deal to cut production ahead of the official November meeting of the cartel; the cuts currently are set to expire in March

Oil looking perkier. Maybe this run will break beyond $52. Was just offered 19p for a good chunck of my holding when I did a dummy sell. Looks like a few LTH are following through which is fair enough, given how it is holding up I would hope that we have a more interesting afternoon.

The share price is only just back to where it was in March.

But Trinity production and cashflow will rise every month now.

Rising production, rising sentiment, rising share price.

TXP moving upwards , bought a few this am.

Could be worth looking at, onshore nearly 1500 bopd. Gash generating and a further 4 wells to be drilled potentially.

Jungmana, yes been a rough ride with TRIN over the years, for my sins I am going to hold onto this one until too much is priced in. The risks are still here with a wider market sell off and another collapse of oil but if they do not happen as you say 60p is very achievable.

I took out my money from cerp too about 6.5p as posted on the bb last week. On a free carry there too. Yes trin has a long way to go but am happy with my profit as have been stung many times holding too long.Have no worries on a free carry and Imo this time next year 60p+ is nailed on here.Have gone through the rollercoaster with this one

I think it is fair to summarize the following:

Share price was inadvertently held in a cycle of fear and opacity, there was a seller in the market who (I was reliably informed) had a fear about a (savagely) "lower for longer" oil price and was fire-selling shares in TRIN as a consequence, half year results that dissolved the fear and opacity, an excellent presentation (I was there), the shares were (as most of us knew) absurdly cheap at 9.7-12p, buying came in from a Director and another shareholder accumulating...both of these people having the confidence to buck the valuation trend, a series of good news, Bruce and Jeremy are in ongoing profile raising talks with Institutions, strong buying yesterday on volume and at a pivotal price...a note of some description form WH due out in the next week or so (and this will be after their institutional clients have been briefed...possibly that is commencing/happening already(?)) So, where to from here: WH note, November update, SPT overhaul, motivated company that (other than the annus horribilis)has always been profitable, great management wo i know and trust, great tax losses (205 mln dollars), great assets that are (at some point) going to to jump up in value as 2P status is achieved, BIR early repayment next year, strengthening balance sheet...IF you think that fair value pre half year results was 10 p then sell here maybe...I believe fair value was about 20 p two weeks ago...why would i sell now with all that re-rating news in the pipeline just because the shares were undervalued 2 weeks ago..that would be stupid.

CERP doesn't determine the value here. There's no comparison, CERP is loss making. It's issuing shares to pay salaries and loan interest.

But TRIN is profitable and growing. Different league.

Just starting my interest here, 4,500 buy was mine. Good to see revenues and recent director buy. Hopefully breaking out from below 20p levels.

Absolutely sleveen and always has been a big premium to TRIN do to herds and hope in old LGO and now CERP. On LSE there have been 75 posts so far this morn8ng, on TRIN 2. So herd speculation definitely a big factor, but my view is there is nothing stoping our management building in some hope value to TRIN also. Fundamentals dictate a price significantly north of here, throw in some hope value and £1 not out of the question in 18 months.

Alternatively CERP is way overvalued on hope value.

I agree, I would think we should continue in trend as this price is still far too cheap IMHO.

Not sold a share here yet, but can understand people derisking. No signs we have had a blow out top yet, no gaps that need to be filled and plenty of news to come. As Law says we would need to nearly £1 for comparable valuation to LGO and I think we have superior assets. If my hunch is correct and the new tax reigime will fundamentally change the way TRIN is valued 20p is a gift still.

Mirabeau if you made a profit that is the main thing. I would say 50-60m looking cheap now relative to other bench mark and information. I felt this level was about right for a few days after relisitng.
