31/1/2017 20:37 | Regardless of the oil price these are 3 South American producers and their respective reserves, production, cash/debt and m/caps relative to Trin. It's a steal given their breakeven has been slashed, and have already been completely restructured. This has to play catch up not just by a few pence but by 200%+ from todays 8.5p/£24m m/cap - simply to have fair comparable value and still an opportunity for progressive growth beyond that. Amerisur: 7,000 bopd. 23.7 mmboe P2. Cash $35m (£28m). 1.2132b shares @ 26p = £315m. (£287m without cash). Andes Energia: 3,500 boepd (of which 465 boe is gas at $19/b). 25 mmbo P2. Net debt $34m. 605.5m shares @ 21.5p = £130m m/cap. President Energy: 700 bopd current (seeking end of summer target of 1400 bopd). 18.1 mmbo P2. 950m shares @ 7p = £66.5m m/cap. $10m net cash. Trinity: 2400 bopd (target for 3,000 bopd). 20.7 mmbo P2. Net l/term debt $9.7m (short term its a net cash position of $4.5m). 282.5m shares @ 8.5p = £24m m/cap. Trinity to PPC for equivalent m/cap = 23.5p just for Trinity to be comparable yet Trin have almost 4 times greater production and higher reserves. Trinity to Andes using 80% of Andes reserves, 80% production and 80% of m/cap as a comparator but disregarding Andes much greater debt = 37p comparable valuation now. Trinity to Amerisur using 33% of Amers production and 90% of reserves and overall just 1/3rd of Amers £287m m/cap (ie £96m) without it's cash element = 34p comparable valuation now. To be in the same ball park as those 3 South American examples we should be in a fair value range of 23.5p up to 37p. PPC being the lowest comparable example of the three, having smaller reserves and has only 1/3rd of TRINs production. | zengas
31/1/2017 18:40 | Think we could see a start of the rerate soon as Brent up again 1.5%.Hopefully interims around end March early April which could hopefully take us close to 20p by then and further up after that. | shafaq

30/1/2017 18:25 | Upon further inspection, 805k trade was from 26th which at that time of day would Of meant a buy. Rock on | aimmafia
30/1/2017 17:40 | Happy things will play out well here, just needs a little time, the figures stack up. | woodpeckers
30/1/2017 17:24 | Thanks very interesting with the late reported. Suspect it is another sell from the placing but a good chunk to get sold and out of the way. | mark10101
30/1/2017 17:24 | Hi mark, DMA stands for direct market access. Apparently some investors can bypass the market makers and trade directly from the order book. Afraid I can't tell you more, never quite understood it. Good to see ZENGAS here! | woodpeckers
30/1/2017 17:17 | Level 2 shows you what other order sizes are placed on the buy/sell side and can usually be inside what the MMs are offering. There's an 806,000 delayed trade at 7.875p from before noon just reported so hard to know if a buy or sell but bang on the closing price used at 4.30pm. | zengas
30/1/2017 17:10 | Interesting, what are the DMA orders? | mark10101
30/1/2017 16:55 | At close on L2 the tighter DMA orders which were better than the MMs buy/sell price all day mostly go off quickly at the close. Then your left with only the MM spread hence what looks like a fall right at the close. | zengas
30/1/2017 16:41 | Bizzare games with price, the whole day all trades above 8p including all sells and we close below 8p. | mark10101
30/1/2017 15:45 | ssshh not yet | astorcourt |
