15/8/2018 13:34 | I'm going to WEYs but let us know what the Triad food is like - it during the day (I think - so could be posh) | netcurtains
15/8/2018 10:49 | Is anyone going to the AGM? I was planning on going but have a Versarien (VRS) investor event on the same day. | mcfly79

10/8/2018 06:39 | Post on lse re cash balance RE: DividendsThis was mentioned at the AGM, for one, they have a number of government contracts and they are notoriously slow at paying. They said the cash cushion is needed to pay contractors monthly when the company may be paid at longer periods, but saying that the chairman said he is in favour of future dividends at both AGMs - now that the company is doing well. I think the dividend will be double next year add that to the potential share price growth from a great pe ratio it's a good safe bet for long and short term investment. I am still buying when I can, still time to get in before divi cut off as well. This was from last Agm . They did have some late payments in last year accounts . | s34icknote
08/8/2018 09:44 | Anyone going to the AGM next month? I'd like to go myself but I'll be away that week. You'll be able to ask about the dividend and anything else there. There is a possibility of a trading update, although the company haven't put one out in recent years The Company confirms that its AGM is to be held at 11.00am on 5 September 2018 at The Dock, Tobacco Quay, Wapping Lane, London E1W 2SF. | daz
08/8/2018 08:33 | What I like about this thread is that it does show the individual trades (buy or sells). Why cant other threads do that? | netcurtains
07/8/2018 21:58 | Looks like more buying than sells .Uptick overdue !Any one going to agm ?Sicknote | s34icknote
07/8/2018 06:31 | ..Or they could use the money for an employee bonus scheme. If they can attract more high calabre employees they will make even more money. The barrier to growth is the numbers it can recruit. Perhaps do both - shareholder bonus and employee bonus. | netcurtains
06/8/2018 22:51 | Get onto management and make it happen. | greenroom78
06/8/2018 21:05 | Right, for a company that looks like a good investment in every other respect, such disregard for shareholder returns is concerning. A buyback program or a significant dividend increase would help a lot. | push n run
06/8/2018 19:56 | They could probably pay 6/7 p and still increase the cash pile !!!!Sicknote | s34icknote
06/8/2018 17:50 | I think the divi yield is too low too given recent earnings and the cash pile. A proper yield might shift the price up a bit. They could easily afford 4p last year. | arthur_lame_stocks
06/8/2018 17:03 | A 50 to 100 percent rise in existing divs would do !Sicknote | s34icknote
06/8/2018 12:50 | I don't think there is a special dividend coming.. | pride23s
05/8/2018 17:30 | Anyone have any idea what they're planning to do with the £3.7m cash on the balance sheet? | push n run
03/8/2018 16:23 | looking at the graph rises and falls within the bigger rise, if the bigger rise continues then we're at the bottom of one of the smaller falls within the bigger rise (if you see what i mean). So probably a good time to buy some more for small upswing within the bigger upswing. | netcurtains
01/8/2018 19:38 | impvesta: well spotted - I was looking for reason for rise and jumped to conclusions. However, it is a clue to how well TRiad are doing because they both go after the same goverment contracts. I say it was "good news" that Parity was doing well because it backs up my thesis (from our results) that triad are having a blindlingly good year. | netcurtains
01/8/2018 16:02 | Not sure a comparison with Parity is too helpful netcurtains. The news you are quoting is from an RNS on 18th July so I'm not sure how you can equate today's rise to that news. And is Parity really comparable anyway? It has borrowings and doesn't pay a dividend. | impvesta
01/8/2018 15:48 | clue as to how good business is at present via news from Parity: We are pleased to report that the Group has traded well and in line with our expectations in the period and is expected to deliver double digit growth in the Group's profit before tax from continuing operations compared to the same period in the prior year. Parity up about 10% today on this news... (or Triad would be over 80p now - but probably a lot higher when it all comes out) | netcurtains
30/7/2018 06:47 | be interesting to see if share price rises towards the ex-dividend date ( 23 August 2018) and whether they will release any news around the time AGM (beginning of SEptember) to tell the market how they are doing going foward. | netcurtains
28/7/2018 11:13 | Looking back TRD does seem to have been a bargain at around 50p on the Chart It would not be unreasonable to assume chartwise 100p is doable IMO if Triad should announce a decent contract win at its current chart level of 75p ish. The new website is a vast improvement on the old one ... will it bring more work ? IMO the website of a company , especially a small cap like TRD ... is its MAIN selling tool. | buywell3
25/7/2018 16:03 | Look at the big picture. The five year graph for CGI (market leader) CGI has a PE ratio of 23. If triad had the same PE ratio (and why not) then triads share price should be £2.40 | netcurtains |
