The Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) will expand in both scope and size bringing experts in data, digital and AI from the Government Digital Service (GDS) the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) and the Incubator for Artificial Intelligence (iAI) to unite efforts in the digital transformation of public services under one department.

This move will drive forward the digital changes needed to overhaul the British public’s experience of interacting with the government, so it becomes personalised, convenient, and timesaving – for example, by providing people with just one way to log in and prove who they are so they can quickly access the government services they need. It will also help remove roadblocks to sharing data across the public sector

This is the new type of software that will allow teams to increase productivity without needing to employ so many people.... This will help smaller, more agile, software houses, such as Triad, to win more business with less staff.

The company has to give 21 days notice. In the Triad website, they still show the 2023 letter of AGM notice which was dated 3rd July for the 26th July meeting, so I assume it has yet to be issued for 2024. Expect an early August date for the AGM, I would suggest.

The sector is forecast to grow 15% this year.

The increase in staff numbers alone, points to a cool 40%.

From my historic research there is a reasonably relationship to laptop and phone sales and booms in IT jobs.
I think an AI boom in the UK is probably just around the corner.

Originally I was skeptical when ST asked my about this, but events/share prices in USA and now South Korea are proving me wrong.

netcurtains, i refer to your comment re a possible explosion of Triad profits at some time in the future.

That “explosionR21; requires higher revenues, plus a massive increase in gross, & net margins this year, (and into the future.)

We have already discussed revenues, and gross margins that are looking extremely satisfactory.

Now onto the overheads of Triad.

Taking into account the growth rate of the company its probably a cautious assumption to allow a full £5M for this year to cover the Admin of the business. ( 2024 -2025 ).

Based on previous discussions on this BB that profit explosion you mention, could be here, and now. ( not in the future ).

The magic , (as i have alluded to in the header post’) is delivered through the general overhead base being spread across a much higher revenue base.

My South Korea tracker up a lot this morning mainly on this news - Samsung expect profits to rise 1400% mainly on AI chip etc etc...

Renewable Transport Fuels (RTFO) - "We are going to need a bigger display cabinet"

I don't know if there's an award for winning the most awards, but picking up a third award for this project is an outstanding achievement by the team.

Last night at the Computing Digital Technology Leaders Awards, the RTFO team at Triad Group Plc picked up the coveted 'Digital Transformation of the Year' award to add to their 'BCS Chartered Institute for IT, UX Project of the Year' and 'NTA RegTech Project of the Year' awards.

Being recognised just once for the team's expertise in user-centred design is an incredible achievement let alone 3 times by 3 different panels.

Another big well done and a thank you to the team, our RTFO colleagues at Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom and the UKs fuel suppliers for such a collaborative effort.

Triad was 5P a share under 12 years ago, it has a full 8 years to hit £5.00 and then it will have returned 10,000 %

NVIDIA of which hundreds of millions of investors are going nuts about has risen 67 fold.

Apple even less since floatation( 53X )

I can confirm what i said in my previous thread.

All that requires is 1 X 10 bagger followed by another 10 bagger = £1.00 of investment into £100.

OR

1 x 100 Bagger

Try it out on a compound interest rate calculator, your get to 86 times at 25% compound, per year over 2 decades. My personal returns are over 25% .

Triad is a prime example where investors have yet to cotton on the business model has changed enabling stunning high margin profit growth.

No city research as far as i can see.

So 99.9% of the city screen muppets will only jump on board AFTER substantial profits appear.

Thats fine by me , it pushes up the PE Ratio

Outlook

In my Trading Statement dated 7th March 2024, I indicated that we should expect "a flying start for our new financial year beginning in April". I can now confirm that our progress since the year end has shown that my words have turned out to be a very substantial understatement. A transformation of our results is now being achieved in the current financial year.

Thats for you to ponder, i am afraid, i can confirm, that the results have produced over 25% compound for the last two decades. That is after taking some nasty hits along the way. ( part and parcel of investing ).

I never understood investing in the average company, when with skill and guts one can achieve over 3 times the average on a consistent basis.

My best ones were Arcadia (Topshop), WEY education, Traid.....
Two recovery plays (Arcadia and Triad) and one the only listed Home School company in the UK (apart from PEARSON PLC - which has risen 20% so far for me - not bad but not brilliant)...

The 3 best stocks i have ever owned were where directors (and family), owned a huge lump of the companies.

Why were they such great investments. ?

1/ No city research on any of them, it’s a DIY job.

2/ No debt

3/Low market caps, that keeps the institutions away in the early days.

4/ Growth
