Personally i don't think the election is an issue simply because the order book is bulging right now and the large contracts won over the last six months are all steaming ahead.

Staff vacant positions are also extremely healthy, Triad now employ 150 staff up from 113 a year ago. That growth in numbers is set to grow at pace.

The shares may, as you rightly say, dip on results day, if investors were expecting profits for the year ending 31/03/24. That said , the chairman has told share holders in the last trading update he has not been more upbeat about prospects for the last 20 years. On balance i am of the view any possible fall in the share price on results day will be short lived.


It’s all about future revenue and profit growth from a lean business model, delivered by the best in the sector.

Absolutely no chance of a profit for the full year.

Half year loss was £1M if you read the last interims and updates.

We know the company returned to profit in Nov, Dec was rubbish as Government shuts down for half the month.

Jan, Feb, and march were no doubt profitable, but some costs for starting new projects were loaded on during that period.

Hence the full year to 31/03/24 should see some reduction in the first half loss.


The attraction is the profits in 2024 -5 and the outlook statement going forward.

I was thinking the profit would be next year.
After the intrims in December to make such a huge profit
in last 6 months implies money must be pouring in..

I thought something around 15m turnover and 1.5m profit with EPS of about 10p.

Stablecoins in the uk are due to go live by July 24.

Stablecoins are ahead of all other Crypto laws being introduced as the Government wants the UK to be world leaders, under a light touch regime.

Renewable Transport Fuels (RTFO)

One of the most rewarding aspects of my role is celebrating the success of our teams.

Tonight, I was privileged to share in the success of an immensely challenging project that successfully digitalised a highly complex and convoluted piece of legislation, delivering a digital service that is straight-forward to understand and administer, helping organisations remain compliant.

Being recognised for delivering the best Regulatory Technology project of 2024 at the National Technology Awards is an amazing achievement and well-deserved by the team.

Congratulations to Triad Group Plc's Renewable Transport Fuels Obligation team, the RTFO Team at the Department for Transport (DfT), United Kingdom, and the UK's fuel suppliers who worked closely and collaboratively over many months to design and deliver this digital service.

As the team progresses on to the Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) mandate, I am looking forward to seeing more of the same!

No worries, you might want to ponder on what the markets reaction might be if TRD announce in the results, the size of the order book, as per, whats already in the public domain for those willing to look.?

I can’t think of ever seeing an RNS from any company saying the order book is up by a magnitude of around 9.7 times, (or about double last year’s turnover). Thats just from large known contracts. It excludes the private sector, 20% of sales, and takes no account of day to day incoming workload or work on the ACE platform. It also excludes work on sensitive government contracts.

In my overview of results dated 20th December 2023, I said “I personally have never felt so
confident and enthusiasƟc about the state and prospects of the Company for more than 20
years” and “I believe that we are at the beginning of a period of increasing major success and
growth”. I am delighted to confirm that both these statements are proving to be more than
amply jusƟfied.
Since 20th December, we have conƟnued to win major and long-term pieces of new business.
We returned to profit in November and, apart from the Christmas/New Year holiday period,
have been on a strongly rising trajectory ever since. Cash flow, as normal, is following closely
behind the profit trend. We have been nominated for more national awards. Our
recruitment process is operaƟng at full steam ahead with great success. I should point out
that the costs of seƫng up the new projects and hiring will be absorbed in the fourth
quarter; however, this will enable us to get off to a flying start for our new financial year
beginning in April. I shall provide a much more extensive account of developments in my
statement accompanying the full year results.

The numbers for the year ending 31/03/24 will be a reflection of last year and hopefully an improvement on the first half.
By that i mean a part claw back of the first half loss.

Shares are all about the future, investors want to purchase growth for a song, hold , and reap long term rewards in the form of increasing dividends and a rising share price.

Investors have two options, when it comes to selecting investments.

1/ Research companies, read trading updates, and follow industry news.

Based on the above make a decision to purchase stock, or move on.

2/ Reduce risk and purchase on results day at the then going price of the share.

“Hype” is what your average company broker produces, and is paid for by the company.

It also includes company presentations to investors that very often, get touted around the city, just prior to the next funding round, at a huge discount, leaving mug punters well out of pocket.

Investors and potential investors here at Triad, need to focus on the facts that are in the public domain.

Let’s just concentrate on a single FACT today, AWARDS handed out to outstanding companies by the IT industry itself.

Triad over the last year have cleaned up, winning awards from the sectors best.

Most companies with just a 150 staff would be delighted to have won ANY top notch award.

TRD have won awards not from a single entity, but from 3 different sources.

They have won these awards after being judged by various different judges after being up against the likes of BT 10,000 plus staff, and Capita perhaps with 30,000 employees.
