Obviously it's a Spring "TET Offensive" (sorry if pun already made here...!)

The CMD presentation is now on the website - see "Financial Information", then "Updates". Worth flipping through. It is hard to know what was said and how bullish the tone was, but my reading is that the key messages included:
- The portfolio is well positioned for (enduring growth from) healthier living trends
- China could be massive for Treatt ("The growth potential of the Chinese market
cannot be understated" on page 15) - I would have loved to hear this part
- We're managing supply chain issues to our advantage

And during Q&A you can bet your bottom dollar that analysts were probing how confident they can be in H2 (everybody is cynical about "H2 weighted" guidance) and it would seem from the share price reaction that they were happy with the response

Sadly not myself, would like to hear from anyone that did?

Pleasing to see the price come off its recent lows (and those of us that bought around 800p or below have already been rewarded for our faith) perhaps suggests that investors that did attend are satisfied with what the company previously announced around "seasonality" for H1, (which was a v obvious over-reaction to the downside).

This is what they said about Coffee:

The Group's investment in premium natural coffee extracts has been driven by strong demand from existing and new customers for high quality extracts which deliver the authentic flavour and aroma of freshly brewed coffee. Whilst revenue from this category was not material in the Period, we now have contracts and orders placed totalling almost GBP2m.

Unfortunately this is on a huge P/E ratio compared to most companies in the market at the moment. 50% fall from peak feasible - perhaps to circa 6.50

guidance in line with consensus. suspect the bots selling on gross margin weakness but not thinking about h2 weight here. i have added.

a relative minnow in the flavours and fragrances field, could therefore attract a bid from one of the giants were it to fall too far...
