30/4/2019 16:49 | View of CV show stand here. Looks good (and expensive...) hxxps://www.linkedin | epsomsalts1
30/4/2019 16:04 | Samsara stall was very basic and hidden at the back. Took me ages to find. I asked them how they were going to disrupt the market. After they had said how I said that they were offering nothing particularly new (RH600). They then said that the UK market was already mature and that were thinking more about the US when they say disrupt. Cameras do not even live stream (ok, it is not necessary and not always a good idea) | dc2
30/4/2019 14:26 | Got some Samsara socks | dc2
30/4/2019 14:10 | Thanks for that, both. Nice to have some insight. | knowbodyyouno
30/4/2019 13:12 | Much better than last year. Spoke to them and about FORS packages (sounds good) and ADAS on the RH600 (released last month, I did ask what the delay was with it and got usual waffle response). Told them I was a share holder and they needed to do better! Got a lousy pen in a bag vs the world from VisionTrack so glad they were keeping expenses down. Said they were hapoen with the new sales staff. | dc2
30/4/2019 08:38 | "Acceleration from contract wins.." Acceleration from what exactly? Zero wins as comparative? RNS 16.11.18 stated "approximately 251,000 connections (Sept 2017: 217,000 connections), the same as last year end." RNS 29.4.19 Trakm8 has over 250,000 connections. Clearly a failing sales team that has been asleep since 1.4.18 More likely the focus is on engineering, and capitalising R&D to gain liquidity from tax refunds | 2020rg
30/4/2019 08:24 | Not here for pleasure but will visit their stand. First impression (show not open till 8:30) is the Trakm8 staff spend more time in the gym than me (and it shows grrrrr) | dc2
30/4/2019 08:17 | You went along? Be good to get a sense of this new Fleet sales Director and the general energy of the team. Let us know if you're able to. Cheers | knowbodyyouno
30/4/2019 08:12 | Doesn't read too bad.nice and sunny day at the NEC, shame I am indoors:( | dc2
29/4/2019 15:32 | You're probably right dc2. I'm going to shut up. | dave2608
29/4/2019 13:21 | Dave, you are taking it all a bit too seriously for someone who is no longer invested. Just take the win, Blondeamon admitted he got it wrong wrt to the 50%. We all know that this BOD cannot be trusted and this will be clear to anybody who does the research. | dc2
29/4/2019 13:13 | Probably going to sound a bit like more of the same - but we'll know a lot more about whether or not they've 'turned things around', when it comes to the July TU. And yes there's some huge questions surrounding the veracity of the Sept presentation. I suspect they can get away with it from a legal perspective ..but, well. IMO what followed should certainly have forced JFW to bow out and possibly the FD, but there you go. We are where we are (well, those of us that are invested here anyway). | knowbodyyouno
29/4/2019 12:44 | They've turned nothing around whatsoever. There was an RNS stating that revenues would be 20-25% below FY2018 outcome. It was then followed by another RNS stating revenues were going to be 25-35% down. No mention was ever made of revenues being 50% down. As it turns out they were right in the latter RNS about revenues being in the range of 25-35% down. | dave2608
29/4/2019 12:18 | Well reading that RNS they do make things sound a little rosy and I could well understand a new wave of investors being lured in, aided and abetted by a few gentle rampers. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the share price climbed from here either. How rosy did they make things sound last September though? How many people on here topped up as a consequence of that presentation they did? | dave2608

29/4/2019 12:12 | Whilst Dave's numbers appear correct it is hardly an analysis (neither is mine). They state that they made an "adjusted loss before tax of GBP1.4 million for the Period". Ok, they do not declare how that was adjusted (R&D tax credits etc). The implication (I admit I am no accountant) is that other money spent is working capital. | dc2
29/4/2019 12:10 | I was thinking of going out for fish and chips but dave and Callum's summaries have made me reconsider. | tonybaloni
29/4/2019 12:08 | Interesting. First time, I've come across someone that takes investment decisions, on the basis of what they read on BBs. That to me sounds risky... However, your broader point is how I also see it. High risk, but also the potential for high reward. I think that's just the nature of the AIM. DYOR | knowbodyyouno
29/4/2019 12:02 | Was actually thinking of investing but Dave's analysis of the cash flow and net debt position has deterred me - a high risk/ high reward situation by the sound of it. | callumross
29/4/2019 11:44 | Not out of the woods yet? Whereabouts in the forest do you think they are? | dave2608 |
