Blonde, I respect you but I think that Watkins cannot wait to offload Trak.

I think it will be sold / major stake sold in 2018. Do you want to put dinner on it Blonde? Restaurant of choice? You and me?

Wouldn’t it just?!

The market would have got a whiff of it though and so far there’s no reflection of such background noise.

I’m very impatient, but doubt we’ll get anything until the 2nd.

My belief is that this will happen soon. Why? He old FD is still an employee, after the new FD coming in over 8 months ago. As a substantial share holder, as an “employee̶1; the old FD will be subject to Entreprenuers tax relief (10% total tax on equity sales over 5% for employees of the company).

No one needs an 8 month hand over, he is still an employee for a reason.

I would imagine, once the transfer to the new business model is complete, Trak will certainly be a takeover target. In fact, my hope for sometime has been that they will dispose of the business - but not so soon that they don't realise the full value.

My belief is -consistent with JW's management style-steady,carefully managed and to an extent lacking in a strong public persona he will inexorably increase devices sold..Behind the scenes -evidence their current recruitment profile -and their commitment to increased production automation -it will happen. The real question is will he be able to hold on before the vultures circle.

I suspect we'll find out where the co is going, when they update the market with the final results. We know already they will be better than last year, because last year's results were bad. Recent RNS suggest this year will be much more in line with ME - here's hoping for an upward trajectory following results. Until then, my guess is we will remain fairly flat or move further down.

Where is this co going? Have seen no real solution sales, just more of the same box shift and that is not what they should be relying on. With a cost base as it is, there is a ton of dongles to sell. New channel sales guy ex Green Road should help but would prefer to see some more smarter sales that are more about the data and higher subscriptions than tracking. With transport becoming more of as-a-service, surely their device and a smart platform could help new entrants, whatever the vehicle type. Come on Track!

Nothing. But I wasn't searching for advertised jobs (which I found easily), I was searching for updates about recent appointments, which others here suggested could be viewed on Linkedin.

You maybe right. Or perhaps I'm not tech-savvy enough to properly navigate my way round Linkedin. Either way, it doesn't matter too much - others here and elsewhere seem to be taking that lead presently.

Couldn't find these new appointments on Linkedin. I notice, however, that they're advertising for PR/marketing man/woman and not before time in my opinion.

They will at least mention that their technology has been selected to be on the roadmap of some of Europe’s largest recovery fleets customers vehicles.

The AA contract is going to be huge. I like the fact that they have not mentioned it at all. Suggests the big reveal in a months time.
