12/11/2003 09:23 | looking good, next stop 28p :)) | floppyhunter
11/11/2003 21:13 | mcel101 - thanks - confirmed what I thought | iglet
11/11/2003 21:05 | iglet. If you care to put TRN into ADVFN's excellent fundamentals page, you will see it's a SEAQ stock. | mcel101
11/11/2003 20:53 | Can someone confirm that TRN is NOT an AIM stock - my current holding is in my dealing a/c & I have some cash sitting in my ISA which might profitably be thrown at Trio. Many thanks IG | iglet
11/11/2003 18:25 | My broker proactively approached me to see if I wanted to sell my Trio holding shares as MMs were looking for stock. This, plus the big volumes today means that someone is accumulating big time. A bid on its way at last?? | big_cat
07/11/2003 20:42 | Maybe the jump in price is a delayed reaction to the interest rate rise, with the real prospect of more rises to come next year. Trio should do very well from interest rate volatility. | xenawarriorprincess
07/11/2003 15:45 | i have been in this since sub 13 and imho still a long way to go | floppyhunter
07/11/2003 11:34 | rhiannon, lets hope that this year we see Trio show the level of profits and growth that some of us expect. On paper this is very undervalued IMHO but it needs to generate a wider interest and investor base to create the push upwards. Good luck all. | davron8
07/11/2003 09:30 | Looking good for an overdue RISE today. When you see how much money this firm as and its prospects, its a screamer.wdik | rhiannon
30/10/2003 16:52 | seen the same before in other shares and its rarely a buy signal, ive often put it down to incorecct data or someone simply taking the piddle! | danielk
30/10/2003 16:45 | Someone purchased 10 shares today - sounds like a buy signal!!! | big_cat
28/10/2003 12:26 | What buyers? | big_cat
27/10/2003 15:50 | Buyers starting to return.wdik | rhiannon
25/10/2003 14:02 | The rollovers are difficult to comment on. With only 83,480,000 shares issued any deal for 3,300,000 should be the subject of an RNS re holding. As none have come forward it could be that whoever is doing it is already a declared holder and has released funds by selling and bought back with T20's immediately so that the situation on holding has not altered. Just thinking aloud on the keyboard. It might be a cheaper way of raising funds than by borrowing from a conventional source for the short term while still keeping the share holding. | davron8
25/10/2003 09:40 | I'm suprised that the prospect of an imminent rise in interest rates has not sparked a rise in Trio, after all interest rate volatility is their bread and butter. Not only has there been no rise, but the share has fallen! The markets seem to be pricing in a rise to about 5% by the end of next year. A 1 1/2 % increase amy not seem much, but it is actually a near 50% increase in the base rate from where we are now. Regarding the roll over there has been no RNS, perhaps, by coincidence there are two unrelated roll overs taking place at the same time, which the broker feeds through in one transaction, maybe? | xenawarriorprincess
24/10/2003 16:27 | Bit quiet round here at the mo. May see a run up soon to the results. More news from UK-locals New Subsidiary Company - Our parent company TRIO Holdings PLC, announces a new subsidiary Martin Brokers Transactional Products Limited to take forward the on-line dealing service developed for UK-Locals, and to apply our highly advanced and successful technology into other exciting product areas. | ccullinane
22/10/2003 09:00 | Had 250000 of these ONCE. WISH I STILL HAD. wdik | rhiannon
19/10/2003 21:12 | You'll see the regular rollovers here, including the one on Friday: This one is bigger than previous ones though... | mcel101
19/10/2003 17:23 | Within the last year only the following have had a declarable trading interest in Trio reported by RNS. Figures are last reported holding and %. THE LINK ASSET AND SECURITIES CO LTD 2500000 2.99% Link have sold 900,000 or 1.14% since 23rd June 03 to todate in 5 trades. MR N D A LEVENE 9500000 11.38% D.L. Hagan 8778400 10.52% MR T.E. BROWN 2510000 3.00% The two trades of 3300000 on Friday both qualify to be reported with RNS so as Awilson states in his post, we should have info next week.. | davron8
19/10/2003 10:52 | The 2 trades are more likely to be the regular rollover someone is doing, though his broker seems to be increasing his margins a bit! | mcel101
19/10/2003 10:48 | The two deals late on Friday together represent 8% of the TRN equity, assuming they are cumulative, and are declarable interests under SE rules. So with luck, we may hear something positive early this week. | awilson
18/10/2003 13:27 | drago, I only referred to one as example, I have other shares still sleeping. Feel very much a sector related market at present time with some still not in favour. Hoping to see the sleeping sectors, ie engineering and aerospace etc catch up with the general market. Not popular with press so very little information around. Like Trio, think some are good for a strong move as results start to come out. Time will tell. | davron8
18/10/2003 11:01 | davron, your lucky you only have one sleeping share, i ve a whole pile in deep hibernation. | drago
17/10/2003 20:38 | C the rns re the 250k... they seem to have found a buyer without any problem | badtime
17/10/2003 18:02 | mmm, but 3m this time? where did the extra 1m suddenly come from? Did he have 1m more that he hadn't paid for? Dunno how these things work, probably better sticking to profits, cash, market values and fundamentals rather than speculating about other holders' actions/intentions. Year end been and gone, just have to wait for the results | monty burns |
