From Malcy: Tower Resources Tower has raised £1.5m this morning at 0.325p per share plus 1 warrant per 3 shares held, the money raised is to cover ongoing operational costs and to work on the drill site. Jeremy Asher is putting in £700,000 as he continues to back the company to a significant degree. He said this morning ‘I am pleased to have received support of new and existing investors and I hope that my personal commitment to the placing and the facility serves as a demonstration of my own confidence in the Thali licence.’ I can think of few people who have continued to back a well campaign so personally and many that would have fallen at hurdles well short of this distance and Thali deserves to be drilled at least and give Jeremy some bang for his personal bucks. With the possibility of albeit at an early stage, major investor in Namibia things are looking up for him.

He can’t help it, what would you do? Someone’s sniffing around Namibia, so that’s interesting! Apparently

JA made a big mistake with the most recent video , no substance and giving an impression that the markets for cash are difficult was just rubbish, this is not the case if the project has traction for returns , he needs to make an offer to convert his loan to shares and be prepared to allow Namibia to go for quick sale , trying to imply that he is sitting on a gold mine is not what is required to ensure funding .

Just watched the JA interview on LSE , 2 out of 10 for presentation , first thing is to employ someone with a bit more gusto , content also a bit wishy washy , looks like farmin not going to happy for a while yet , certainly not before year end.

Jeremy is very happy to allow farmin for Namibia , so would most companies of this size with very little financial clout , not sure what the back costs are here , but most likely around £4/5 million , so he will probably take that plus a 20% free carry , or a 5% royalty payment , win win if it comes good , share price of around 3-5p should reflect a result .

Both Namibia and S/Africa are hot postcodes currently, why would a Major bother dealing with a micro cap ? It would be easier to take them out. Same could be said for GBP imo

He may be edging towards only taking a very small % of the profits from a major as far as Namibia is concerned. That would make sense. Whoever the major is they have approached Tower and hold the upper hand. Updates on Cameroon in the pipeline. Active farm out in S Africa. I think Peel Hunt had wind of this some time ago.
