GBP are also in talks with counter parties regarding farm out talks with two blocks adjacent to TRP and ECO Namibia is obviously receiving much interest currently

Are you trying to say something without saying it? However you look at it, it seems to me that there is a major interested in Tower's Namibia blocks and if so this will multi-bag overnight. If not, not far to fall so it surely has to be worth taking a few of these. As they say, you have to be in it to win it. I have added.

Mr Asher served as a director of Better Place LLC and its subsidiaries, from February 2008, and remains a director of two subsidiaries, having resigned from Better Place in 2010. Better Place is an electric car venture which has raised over US$850 million from investors since its formation. In May 2013, the Better Place group of companies collapsed with the loss of shareholder funds and was placed into a liquidation process. The Company notes that the now insolvent Better Place declared on its website “Oil isn’t working, if you ask us, the last drop can’t arrive a minute too soon”

I did think this was finished as a prospect , but if we are to belief yesterdays news , then a deal is in the making here , have taken a couple of million for a small punt.

Yes, you would think he would raise the cash first, then source a rig etc BPC seem to be following the same method

Come on, 100k shares cost virtually nothing. Must be on the smaller punters radar surely. I tried a few today...one day it...!

Interesting Jimarilo! I know a lot of people lost out here last time around but I had quite a few then as well. I went to Vrindavan to see the playground and birthplace (yes, I know he was born in Mathura)of Krishna, checked my TRP shares and they had gone up to around the 7p mark, I think it was in that region anyway. So I sold more than half as I had bought them for around 3p. I sold the remainder at about 3p. Great stay in Delhi as well. Anyway, I am open-minded and back the underdog so I am not going to slag JA or anyone else off but I do have a handful of shares in TRP now. Incidentally, I am planning an even more auspicious pilgrimage for 2020!

One also has to take into account that no viable oil has been found in the area , however lots of gas has been found , but not recovered due to the high cost of getting it onshore .

I can only think that the so called finance providers are putting pressure on Archer to find additional contribution in his efforts to raise cash for drilling , so selling some of the assets makes total sense . Farm out on Namibia could be worth a very tidy sum to them.

Cause although I'm a holder I've not been following the story given the miniscule holding has been well and truly placed in the bottom drawer......Agreed, probably approached, but it's essentially no different to what would be shared in a data room situation. Hopefully it comes to something.

Let's face it, they have some good prospects but lack the cash to do anything with them unless someone comes along. Whoever that may be will hold the aces but even so TRP will become valuable if anything does happen. Slagging them off is pointless and usually indicates someone who has lost money.

oilretire, I have no idea why you would think a data room has been opened and that’s what Asher has described? Reads quite simple to me Tower were approached

I think it means we are about to be very rich Rodderz! -------- Tower has disclosed technical and commercial information to a major international oil company, in order to explore the potential to co-operate in respect of Tower's Namibian Blocks. This follows preliminary discussions initiated by that company and held earlier this summer. Jeremy Asher, Tower's Chairman and CEO, commented: "This process is at a very early stage, and may not lead to any agreement. However, it does provide a timely reminder that, in addition to our Cameroon appraisal and development project, the Company has two extremely attractive exploration opportunities in Namibia and South Africa. Our Namibian Blocks, in which we have an 80% interest as operator, include two giant four-way dip closures in the West and four large structures in the Dolphin Graben where the 1994 Norsk Hydro well 1911/15-1 encountered three source rock intervals, and recovered oil from Albian carbonate core samples. Our Algoa-Gamtoos license in South Africa, operated by NewAge, where our interest is 50%, adjoins Total's license where it made its recent 1-billion boe Brulpadda gas-condensate discovery in the Outeniqua basin, and that Algoa-Gamtoos license includes a 364 million boe prospect identified by NewAge in the same Outeniqua basin."

Very strange. Was there a data room open for Namibia?? Cause that's essentially what Jeremy has described.
