TXP are proposing to issue 58m shares, almost 25% of 238m shares currently issued.

On the basis of the quickest of looks TRIN have net cash of $4.6m, $5m of VAT due, and $225m of tax losses (at 31/12/2022).

So quite possibly a good deal but I'd rather that TXP had stuck to their knitting

It's obviously a reasonable deal for both parties considering relative advantages.
I am a bit concerned though, regarding cornering so many clowns in one place, surely there will be some "clown monopoly" legislation to consider and I'll take a look at the WCA rules who may object to this before getting too "excited"?
I hope this wasn't one of the Aces previously alluded to, as its a pretty obvious strategy and I may have (personally) tried to wait for a lower price for TRIN?

I had a TRIN holding and sold @ 93p, the offer price is nowhere near that.

Many TRIN holders will be screwed.

Q3 so could be absolutely massive if the rates are as good as think... remember they are putting it straight into production... so bottom line adding from the moment its hooked up.

Looking good sirmark! The trouble with TXP though is that no gain lasts! Look at the last time you were uttering such bullish regular updates. Now look at the price. It may be good for the short term traders but the long term faithful TXP holders want a reversal in the trend and a sustained rise. Let's see that first!
