13/5/2024 09:02 | Ticked up ... now looking for a breakout of the 40p range and back into the 50's With news tomorrow, we could well be on the cusp of confirmation of the wall of cash is on it's way. | sirmark
13/5/2024 08:51 | Dunders Good luck with medicals. The board wll still be here whe you return - hopefully. More pearls of wisdom will undoubtedly be needed by then, washed down with a good single malt!! red | redartbmud
13/5/2024 08:33 | Good start Level 2 looking good for a tick up now 2 v 1 ...last of the sub 40p stock available .. Is this the start of re-rerate... I think it could well be ! | sirmark
13/5/2024 08:26 | Peak of £1.46? Was much higher than that red. | spawny100
13/5/2024 08:26 | Egg Equals Up 35.79% on the year and +178.92% in 3 years. red | redartbmud
13/5/2024 08:23 | buffy Indeed, but is it fit to drink? Not swimming in it either - sharks!! I think we need something a little stronger, especially at the times immediately before PB's music hall shows and especially afterwards. It was his command performance in 2021 resulted in the 'peak' share price of £1.46 red | redartbmud
13/5/2024 08:14 | ‘ Since then there hasn't been a real sniff of any meaningful success since. Not enough oil to lubricate wheel nut lamp and not enough gas to boil an egg.’ Look on the bright side; we have the water. Buffy | buffythebuffoon
13/5/2024 08:12 | Trouble is Red - most of AIM has been a dog... I've yet to find a company that has kept rising without any setbacks - unless you know of any??!! | eggchaser
13/5/2024 07:53 | This debate has arisen because the share has been a dog, In March 2021 the share price was £1.46 and by May 2021 it had fallen below £1. Since then there hasn't been a real sniff of any meaningful success. Not enough oil to lubricate wheel nut and not enough gas to boil an egg. Shouldn't shareholders be sceptical in May 2024 and empowered to ask questions of the executives? red | redartbmud
13/5/2024 07:47 | SP93 hard to match their performance but me as a supeb jester kaos3 (chaos cubed) i might be a usefull addition Ps Their main problem is not getting geology right at a huge costs in time and money.it is obvious to me. | kaos3
13/5/2024 07:32 | whos responsibility is to deliver performance of employees i would not know | kaos3
13/5/2024 07:25 | Reminder, TXP up 6% in Canada on Friday.Let's see if market moves us up to 40p level here to be in sync with Canadian prices. | che7win
12/5/2024 21:40 | I agree, I think it’s a big mistake with the merger between Trinity and txp for the management to be operating in a large part remotely from Calgary. A large proportion of mergers result in failure. The risks are there of things going wrong. These risks should be minimised by people such as the COO being on the ground permanently, in my opinion. | aqc888
12/5/2024 21:02 | Dunders - always insightful to hear your thoughts. My point was perhaps veiled a bit. Offshore vs onshore is moot uptream of the wellhead and downstream of the point of sales. It's only the bit in the middle, and $$s, that differ (and implementation of HSE/logistics to support it). Mr Baay as CEO, President, and front page glamour puss of the T&T Times, cannot be expected to be an expert in every single aspect of the business, from seismic to export, from CSR to taxation, just like a prime minister isn't 100% as knowledgeable about details of every government department as the head of each of the departments is. He is the visible figurehead who leads the company. So I'm less concerned about his particular BA from 40 years ago. What I do want to see is him being supported and guided in the C-suite by a chief operations officer who is bang on form with how things are doing out there: with HSE, with quality of service companies, with construction, with operations, with,.. well, the list is extensive. In this case, with no subsurface manager on the executive, I'd also expect him to be fully conversant with what's happening in the Coho and Legacy production, with the Cascadura development, and with the exploration process. And I'd expect a CFO to be right on top of his game in respect of money matters, onshore or offshore - opex, capex, decom, taxation I also believe that if asses need kicking internally or with contractors, it's down to these two guys, particularly Shipka, to do it. Or his subordinates like Chris George. But not Baay - he should only be doing that if matters can't be resolved below board level, or there are impasses with the government. Which is why I don't understand why, when all the company's activities are on one island, the COO is not based there. | spangle93
12/5/2024 11:13 | 11% serious answer - no, Mr Baay has never managed offshore assets before But I'm curious why you feel that's a critical question. He has a BA in administrative and commercial studies, he's not an engineer. TXP is taking over a company with personnel that do have experience in managing offshore assets, and if he does actually make any positions redundant, presumably he is competent enough to retain the skills and knowledge necessary for the same and efficient continuation of all assets | spangle93
11/5/2024 20:22 | Whos going to kick their asses? | flyinghorse1
11/5/2024 12:20 | ..."The best engineers MY EDIT and cream of high value management talent (what a difficult yet fantastic choice there is) EDIT ENDS from both groups"... Great news. | dunderheed
11/5/2024 12:14 | che7win11 May '24 - 11:44 - 37330 of 37331 0 0 0 TXP has quadrupled production and due to double again by year end. But it is on target. ============= Current revenue run rate 85m dollars per year. Ok. ================= All three wells this year successful. The problem here is that 2 wells that have been drilled on the Casc C pad have not been flow tested......its jam tomorrow = trust me. We have had several wells that have looked good.....only to fail to deliver when flow tested. For the record.....I do expect Casc 2 and 3 wells to flow well.....but that needs to happen to get it into share price =============== I appreciate your enthusiasm for the take-over and the facts regarding it do look positive on paper......but TXP management need to to deliver the synergies.....and management is their weak point. BTW......they all need to move to T&T now. 150p share price is not inevitable in my opinion.......its possible if TXP ever get their act in gear.....which I don't believe they will. However.....as always.....the Ortoire Block remains highly prospective.....part I am looking for a presentation from PB....showing a plan on the way forward for the combined group. | 11_percent
11/5/2024 11:50 | LONG TERM down trend intact. Lower Highs.....and Lower Lows. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com ==================== SHORT TERM.....broke the short term (and long term) low of 40.5.....and now sitting at 38.8.......with no support below. Its going lower.....as per normal. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com ================= My big fear here is that PB is going to give one of his "notorious" presentations.....an The next presentation better be good. ====== IMO.....there was "fair" chance that IIs would buy in when Coho was sorted and producing near planned production and Casc pipeline was build with the Casc plan up-graded and producing 200. It would have been throwing off cash......but this takeover add a whole new band of risk......which will put off the IIs......who we need to buy in to gat some upward momentum in the share price | 11_percent |
