14/9/2006 22:27 | Looking sideways again. The Telegraph continues to point to the mega-money poured by the media groups into web sites. Murdoch has thrown £20 million at Milkround Online. Touch with all the Verticles; value £4.4million. Very Interesting. | haydock
12/9/2006 09:40 | It won't be a major piece of news on the world markets, but to those following Touch the most important event, which could start to turn the sentiment around, although not this september, is the next set of results. Its our first hint of reality, although the figures will be the work of an accountant & mean little. The noises could mean more, if we can believe them this year. Has anybody a hint on the likely date this month? | haydock
11/9/2006 17:13 | Well there was one late afternoon trade of 1.4m at 5.6p. Probably a matched bargain so nothing to get excited about. | masurenguy

07/9/2006 09:11 | Something going on between Touch & MDZ: MediaZest plc 30 August 2006 MediaZest Plc (the "Company") Holding in Company Pursuant to section 198 of the Companies Act 1985 the Company received the following notifications:- On 25 August 2006 Touch (GOE) Plc Directors Pension Scheme ("PS"), an entity of which Mr. Vincent Isaacs is both a trustee and a member, purchased a further 160,000 ordinary shares in the Company. Following this transaction, PS holds 1,410,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 6.2% of the Company's issued share capital. Mr. Isaacs is also Executive Chairman of Touch Group Plc. Touch Group Plc hold a further 4,411,764 ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 19.3% of the Company's issued share capital. Touch Pension fund is a very cavalier outfit, with a large holding in Touch & now in MDZ. If these were both going bust the trustees would look a bit odd to say the least. Very Interesting!!! Touch now holds one way or another 25.5% of MDZ & the shares are cheap. Is this the way forward? | haydock

06/9/2006 09:26 | All quiet here again, which may just correlate with the share going forward. Quiet bb's seem to be the best for small shares. Think Big said that nothing would happen before the end of August. September is here, so do we expect action this month? The Figures are due? Just to tempt fate: We were all frightened at the Vincent's comments months ago about cash flow, well since the loan for Verticles, nothing has been heard on the cash flow front. Perhaps we will be cash flow positive? Notice that somebody has just taken a 2% stake in Mediazest, alive & kicking still ? | haydock
05/9/2006 15:44 | and why not? | wild bill
03/9/2006 11:53 | 1,050,000 sold by individual and bought by Pension Scheme...then 460,000 sold by PS? | jailbird
02/9/2006 11:19 | On the other hand I keep on thinking lateraly, and read once agian of the prices paid by the now desperate media greoups for companies which attract adverts on the web. Re Telegraph Thursday : Auto Trader group buys property website : Rightmove .com profit £1.6m price paid ???? Media groups are showing increasing interest in online classified advertising sites. Daily Mail & GeneralTrust bought primelocation.com for £48m last year. Theres gold in in them tha web sites: particularly the verticles, but is it beyond our wildest dreams & the market valuation by light years, perhaps it will be some day soon. Lateral thinking would suggest it will be. Perhaps we should not be agonising about the low sp, or cash flow any more. Also everybody missed the rns this week,re shares sold by one individual & largely bought by the pension fund. | haydock
02/9/2006 09:48 | anyone made any assumptions on what they believe revenues will be this yr end.. results in say 3 weeks or so I expect. I have been reading the previous results..still talking it up with infrastructure in place and expect this to contribute to revenues and be profitable...then they drop in a few lines later that if revenues do not materialiae and expected then more funding maybe required....there is really no positive outlook with conviction...very much jam tomorrow...which does not give me a good feeling. Only good thing is briefings looks to make about £6M revenues according to the latest trading statement for 60 journals if achieved. Not sure about the touchlocal..and expecting losses again! Maybe they will talk up outlook for next yr again. Price is stable even with the sells...looks like the recent decent buyers were thinkBig and his buddies he sold touchplc too... thinkBig reckons news will be October now...his source keeps moving the 'news soon ' forward whenver it fails to materialise..you do wonder if he has a source at all! | jailbird
