03/1/2021 14:16 | I wouldn't want a bid at this stage of the company cycle.
The 'Add' stage of their 'Add and Build' strategy was only completed just over a year ago. Their strategy has resulted in a diversified healthcare business, as a result of which they didn't suffer any severe impact from Covid.
Despite Covid, they still managed £100m++ revenues, made a profit H1, improved margins, paid a dividend.
They still had £12m in the bank, as of H1.
They're in the early stages of their 'Insourcing' Division, which will be a big earner in the future.
NHS 111 is now being promoted as the 1st port of call, whereas pre-covid it wasn't promoted.
They pay a good dividend.
I think as covid becomes assigned to history, the true value of TLY will become known.
New contracts will start to be awarded again (currently only extensions are awarded).
Planned Care will be fully operational.
Insourcing will be fully operational in UK & Ireland. | sikhthetech

03/1/2021 11:49 | With Brexit out of the way, and with the potential after Covid where the structures are in place to bring in activity in other health services (with good margin, and the expanse of regions, I am sure one or more American companies are eyeing us up even now, as a cheap entry into UK health services. | empoggio
03/1/2021 10:54 | No one going to bid for Totally whilst we have Covid 19 , morally would be disruptive to UK as management would have to defend the takeover. | thordon
02/1/2021 23:07 | Thought they would have bought a tech company by now, if there is a bid then we should vote against it. Long way to go for my 60p | grahamwales
02/1/2021 21:04 | Lol i would as well , just nice to see this company growth for a change | thordon
02/1/2021 20:44 | I would take 45-50p in the short term..... | nobbygnome
02/1/2021 20:20 | Hope not as long term holder , i want TLY to be the hunter of company's | thordon
02/1/2021 15:32 | Very interesting that TLY is listed as a potential bid target. It's looked obvious to us here for a while but this is the first time I have seen it acknowledged by the market so to speak. I suspect we might have a strong surge upwards this week.... | nobbygnome
02/1/2021 15:06 | The govn have been running a campaign so people's instinct is to call NHS111 1st. It is being aired at the moment.
Covid has pushed NHS 111 as the 1st port of call and this should continue once covid-19 is history. This will help reduce long A&E waiting times as well as reduce GP waiting times.
These are additional services which will help NHS 111 providers as well as the NHS.
"As part of the ongoing ‘Help Us, Help You’ activity which encourages the UK population to continue to access NHS services during the COVID-19 outbreak, “Think 111 First” aims to make it people’s first instinct to contact 111 when they think they need A&E for an urgent but not life-threatening medical need."

REVENUE GROWS AS CARE PROVIDER RETURNS TO THE BLACK
Revenue grows as care provider returns to the black
Revenue grew at listed out-of-hospital care provider Totally as the Derby company returned to the black during the first six months of its current financial year.
Totally plc has reported a revenue of £54.1m for the period to 30 September 2020, up from £49.2m.
It has also achieved a pre-tax profit of £61,000 compared to a loss of £2.6m during the same months in 2019.
Chairman Bob Holt said: "The group has continued to operate successfully throughout the first half of the year, despite the many challenges presented by Covid-19.

02/1/2021 14:37 | TLY operate a diversified business with 3 divisions:
1) Urgent Care - NHS 111, Urgent Care Centres
Vocare, Greenbrook Healthcare
2) Planned Care
Premier Physical Health (PPH), Optimum Sports, About Health, Totally Health
3) Insourcing - in UK & Ireland, carrying out operations which have been postponed
Totally Healthcare
Planned Care Division was impacted by covid, reduced demand for physio and dermatology, whereas Urgent Care Division, NHS 111, saw a surge in demand.
Urgent care is by far the largest contributor to TLY's revenue.
Insourcing is relatively new division but has seen a surge in demand for non-urgent operations, which were postponed.
Most of the impact felt by TLY was during the 1st lockdown.
It is because they operate a diversified business model that they were not badly impacted by covid.
TLY is not a covid dependent share. Everyone needs healthcare, covid or not. The need for NHS 111, physio, dermatology, postponed operations will still be around post covid. | sikhthetech
02/1/2021 13:55 | Article in today's times on private equity targets, TLY is named, goes to show some insti's (Cannacord Quest) think this is undervalued. | owenski
01/1/2021 18:11 | I have been stuck with the share price chart and movements over the last two moths or so and all the talk about Covid having an adverse effect etc. Looking now at the year chart, it is interesting to note that the worst period of Covid was the lockdown period, and the share price went up 150% during those three months. Away from the chart, the trading/financial results improved very substantially. Albeit lack of guidance, we are assured that the company is trading strongly. Yet, people are still looking at the influence of Covid so as not to invest, when in reality, Covid was/is in no way a negative influence on the progress of the company, except for the fact that the shift has moved from one income or various streams to others. Therefore, the company is actually doing quite well, and the end of Covid trading would actually be a bonus. | empoggio

30/12/2020 11:14 | Oxford vaccine approved.
Looks like they are aiming for 1m vaccinated per week with a 2nd dose after 12weeks.
So hopefully majority of people will be vaccinated by summer.
