Oxford vaccine approved. Looks like they are aiming for 1m vaccinated per week with a 2nd dose after 12weeks. So hopefully majority of people will be vaccinated by summer. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-55280671

I read over hols that at the present rate of vaccinations it would take ten years for 70% popul. Immunisation! They have to spread and expand the points of vaccinations...Where is Totally in all this?

Only just read the 23/12 rns. That is some achievement. If they keep doing everything right it will be eventually recognised in the share price. I first came to TLY in dec 2017 when someone tipped them as their share to double for 2018. I think they were then 31p Maybe 2021 it will happen

Microscope I absolutely agree. Wendy and the team have achieved a lot to get "good" ratings and the foundations are in place for something which is scalabe and which will be difficult to achieve by any other means.

New tier 4 restrictions(lockdown) in place in several parts of England. The 4 nationa seem to be handling covid in their own way. With flu season here as well, TLY's Urgent Care Division must be very busy with NHS 111 Given the number of postponed NHS ops have been increasing, the Insourcing Division must be picking up a lot of work. It would be good to have an update from the company. Maybe early in the New Year.

Here’s one for Buywell .......... Interesting May I Add ...... Sensyne Health PLC - Oxford-based clinical artificial intelligence company - Hires Tony Bourne as independent non-executive director, starting January 31. Bourne was chief executive of the British Medical Association from 2005 to 2013, prior to which he was an investment banker for 25 years, including as a partner of corporate finance advisory firm Hawkpoint. Bourne is currently a non-executive director of hospital chain Spire Healthcare Group PLC and healthcare services provider Totally PLC.

The NHS is to big a monster to control and requires a major rethink. More money needs to be spent but somehow accountable for what they spend it on. No point having budgets as hospitals have different needs. Hospitals in my opinion are to big, they were better off having smaller hospitals and more of them that way staff were more controllable and better managed. I’m sure posters have alternative ways on how things could be done. The NHS is like the king’s clothes everyone is afraid to say it’s a disaster.

NHS is failing the public big time, it’s outdated and squandered money it’s about time big changes took place. It’s not going to get any better.

===== Covid-19 & People are increasingly using Digital Health ==== The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the types and tools that people can use from their home to either consult with a medical professional or receive data via an APP on their phone to answering concerns or inquiries about whatever medical questions or symptoms they have. htTps://www.digitalhealth.net/2020/12/herefordshire-and-worcestershire-launches-own-health-apps-library/ buywell has posted before that AI and technology would impact the uptake of Telehealth and Digital Health services. buywell believes that many other NHS Trusts will soon follow the Herefordshire and Worcestershire lead. This explosion of turning to Digital Health has now happened and since according to Prof Chris Whitty and buywell --- Covid-19 is here to stay like Flu --- buywell adds Covid-19 is much worse than flu because of the long term additive organ damage it inflicts So as in time Covid-19 becomes endemic and its longer term health damage is understood --- visits to Doctors and Hospitals come with RISK for both patients and Health professionals Risks that can and are being mitigated now by Digital Healthcare which buywell opines will become the umbrella phrase that will be used henceforward ie encompassing telehealth , virtual care , telemedicine and so on Many Doctors have seen their telehealth visits soar by a factor of up to 175 times because of Covid-19 and this occurred in just a matter of weeks recently as a results of patients worried about their safety New technologies have had to be implemented by technology providers so as to provide bridges to meet the surge in telehealth demand that has taken place, bridges that possess the digital tools and operational workarounds --- but they have done it. Virtual Care is now part of the new covid-19 normal and is here to stay The NHS and other Healthcare Services will need to implement such improvements so that Doctors are reimbursed for their consultations and electronic data unique for each patient is provided and maintained by the NHS in the case of the UK along with defined clinical protocols to be used. As demand soars driven by value based care , such things as digital front doors , patients attending appointments and digital waiting rooms will become the norm but the experience and speed of treatment will improve very quickly with AI getting increasingly used. In the new era of pandemics and increasing endemics such a change to Digital Health is now a given htTps://www.computerweekly.com/news/252493699/Digital-patient-engagement-tops-NHS-IT-chiefs-priorities-for-2021
