06/5/2020 10:45 | graham, "Would have been good opportunity to keep nightingale open for Covid 19 patients and move them from general hospitals thus allowing operations to take place without the risk of infection." Good point... Isolate Covid19 patients into a seperate hospital. | sikhthetech
06/5/2020 10:41 | Supply and Demand ....playing out beautifully..... | porky8
06/5/2020 10:17 | Sikh Think they are missing a trick there. Would have been good opportunity to keep nightingale open for Covid 19 patients and move them from general hospitals thus allowing operations to take place without the risk of infection. | grahamwales
06/5/2020 10:12 | graham Re "cancelled ops" As Nightingale Hospitals are put on standby and staff return to NHS hospitals, I expect those 'cancelled' operations will now start getting scheduled sooner rather than later... London NHS Nightingale hospital will shut next week | sikhthetech
06/5/2020 09:51 | Dividends over share buybacks anytime. They're going to have to let this one go. Look at those flurry of trades. Not selling any until 150p | spacedust
06/5/2020 09:43 | Albert Most private traders want quick profits whilst institutional investors want long term dividends. Bob holt knows how to get them on board and no doubt the reason for going for dividends rather than share buy back. | grahamwales
06/5/2020 09:39 | Buys being reported as sells | spacedust
06/5/2020 09:21 | GW you have got to laugh. | royalalbert
06/5/2020 09:19 | More and more private investors selling more and more institutions buying. | grahamwales
06/5/2020 08:53 | Cancelled operations now up to 3 million that’s an increase of 1 million from last month. Figures published on Tuesday show there were 3,019 cancelled operations in March 2020, 15% of the total number in the NHS Scotland system. | grahamwales
06/5/2020 08:21 | Surprised Canaccord haven’t been buying but then again perhaps they have :-) | grahamwales
06/5/2020 08:10 | Graham "I’ll say it again it’s not what we say on these boards but how companies perform that matters." Exactly | sikhthetech
06/5/2020 07:51 | As longshanks How many institutional investors have been buying the likes of NCYT recently. Fact is they and others like them have benefited from Covid 19 and have no long term prospects of paying a healthy dividend whilst TLY are a growing business and have long term ambitions. I’ll say it again it’s not what we say on these boards but how companies perform that matters. Money is coming into TLY every day and I’m sure they are much better at it than Buywell or us for that matter. | grahamwales
06/5/2020 07:45 | Ok I have started a new thread | nobbygnome
06/5/2020 07:38 | I doubt Victoria Stevens or Chris Mills is listening to the likes of Buywell when making their decisions. The man who likes to say no can go bury his head for all I care. | longshanks
06/5/2020 07:33 | We will evolve .....Adapt....To any new procedures.... That's what we do .... | porky8
06/5/2020 07:32 | Yes please | spursspurs
06/5/2020 07:12 | Buywell is completely polluting this thread like he does whenever he starts positing. Now I could start a new thread as a paid member and then ban him from the thread. Thoughts? | nobbygnome
06/5/2020 07:08 | In connection with the 5yr plan in the last post, AI affective computing , and robotic technology plus Telemedicine , mHealth, Telehealth and more are going to be here much sooner as a result of Covid-19 pressures for a NHS rebuild for the 21st Century. 'Potential of AI in the NHS AI could support the delivery of the NHS’s Five Year Forward View, which aims to narrow three gaps in health provision. AI could help address the health and wellbeing gap by predicting which individuals or groups of individuals are at risk of illness and allow the NHS to target treatment more effectively towards them. The reduction of the care and quality gap could be supported by AI tools as they can give all health professionals and patients access to cutting edge diagnostics and treatment tailored to individual need. AI could help address the efficiency and funding gap by automating tasks, triaging patients to the most appropriate services and allowing them to self-care. 3.3.1 Right intervention at the right time ' One of these applications identifies where trauma patients – depending on the severity of the injury – should be treated on arrival to hospital with greater accuracy than out of hospital trauma teams. The model uses specific pieces of data including demographics, type of trauma, pre-hospital fluid, medications, vital signs, and disposition. Ensuring trauma patients are treated in the right location means that there is an efficient use of resources and delivery of appropriate care.' '3.3.2 Freeing-up administrative time through automation AI promises to reduce the burden of administrative work in many sectors and healthcare is no exception to this rule. Interviewees for this paper explained that intelligent virtual assistants, such as Amelia,100 could also support medical staff by placing individuals on pathways, book appointments, automatically compose letters, and send patients reminders. In addition, the better scheduling enabled by AI could help address current inefficiencies. It was recently found that 750 additional routine operations a day could be carried out if schedules were better organised.' dyor | buywell3
06/5/2020 06:31 | Thanks for that Buywell ..... Maybe an idea for Totally ..... Going forward....... As a Bolt on ..... Subsidiary ..........As we all know .... Totally Communications .....
