Why would you only want to hear one side of the story? why don't you want to hear the bad bits about the company and the industry?Shortlist is hero and any company that takes money out of the NHS

grahamwales all my posts are industry related and relevant to 111 call centres but no one here wants to talk about how bad they are run and why shareholders are taking money from frontline services to line their own pockets! All you lot are worried about is a share buyback to increase the share price so you can sell and get out of this company. If you was also passionate about the NHS and helping then this would be a profit free company like it was but now it has to service bloodsucking shareholders

hvs doesn't really matter what I say or what I post all you and the other investors here are worried about our ripping off the NHS with dodgy call centres rather than putting frontline services first for the needy and not their bloodsucking shareholders

Rise in number of NHS 111 calls being sent to A&E in Derbyshire

How much are these call centres costing the NHS with their poor training and just sending everyone to A&E in ambulances rather than dealing with the problem. The only winners here are the bloodsucking shareholders taking money from frontline resources and putting it in their back pockets

Is it still official Labour policy to repeal the Health and Social Care Act 2012?

Labour has only one goal anarchy and bankruptcy of Britain there is few from Birmingham City Council teaching them how to do it.

Political composition of the council

Birmingham City Council is comprised of 101 councillors. The Labour Party currently has the majority of councillors and runs the council.

The current numbers of councillors in each of the political parties is as follows:
•Conservative - 25 councillors
•Green - 1 councillor
•Labour - 67 councillors - NO WORK more PAY
•Liberal Democrat - 8 councillors

Outsourcing is key to running the country. You call them when you need them simples really.

This is what TLY say in their annual report:

"Political risk: goalposts changed as politicians intervene in the NHS

Mitigation: Totally has a track record of working with the NHS supporting it through a wide variety of services. Whilst the NHS continues to miss its performance targets and demand continues unmanaged, our position is considered to be secure."

That last statement strikes me as very confident, surprisingly so perhaps in the context of a possible Corbyn government. Is it still official labour policy to repeal the Health and Social Care Act 2012?

all incoming governments tinker with the NHS' local structure to stamp their own mark on it... we had HA, PCT, TPs, CCGs...

All opposition governments promise the earth to get into power but, once elected, change their stance...

If labour win then I'd expect some tinkering with the local NHS structures... definately a change of name, it's what's happened in the past...

However, I think the whole NHS will collapse if any government tried to make wholesale changes to the current national structure...Primary, Secondary and Tertiary care...

The whole NHS is dependent on private companies... GPs, agency staff, IT suppliers, logistics, building maintenance, hospital supplies etc...
Just like the Police, army, Highways etc are dependent on private companies..

I'm guessing pugugly you are saying, that you never said Corbyn would be pm.

I didn't claim you said that, however what you did say was 'When Corbyn cancels all outsourcing...' so it seems to me you are actually assuming he will be.

.....Unless he has some way of doing it from opposition... I guess we never know with these 'neo-communists'.... ;)

sikhthetech: To answer your question YES If hard left under Corbyn win the next election.

hvs - Agreed Not streewise but neither is the snowflake generation - Most have been wrapped in cotton wool most of their lives and Corbyn promisses to wipe out their student debt - increasse minimum wage - etc etc but never says how he will raise the funds except for more taxes on the rich (which probably means everone who earns mot than say 150% of median income and whose wealth including main home of more than say £400-500K

microscope - I never said that Nor did the ST. I hope yu are right but with the conservatives tearing themselves apart and no viable middle ground alternative
Bookies odds however not so clear -

Micro,

"conveniently forgets that it was Labour who began outsourcing. "
yes, funny that...

PUG,

Do you think all the GPs, agency nurses, pharmacists etc will be forced to work as direct employees of the NHS??? Do you think the GPs are fleecing the NHS by working as independent companies...
Didn't Labour create the NHS???
;-)

2 yrs ago, from the BMJ..
"It’s time that NHS general practitioners became NHS employees to end the anomaly that left GPs and their staff independently employed when the NHS was created in 1948."

"However, salaried GPs are rarely employed by the NHS; generally, they are employed by other GPs or commercial companies."

LABOUR will never br streetwise all they knows is how to spend , waste and borrow.

Scottish "GOD" Browns mantra and dont forget the light touch with the banks , remember his Mansion House speech in 2007 , we is going to conquer the world.
