Looks like they wanted more but at a lower price, seen that happen on CPX, went from 3p to 15p not long after lol

Well there's a twist - announced a reduction to 2.3 million earlier this month and now they've acquired about a million shares...

I guess Killick sold for one lot of clients and now have bought for a different lot!

It is good to know they're not selling any more, anyway, which either means Miton are out or down to that last few I mentioned before.

Anyway we have positive momentum now, which is what counts, and holdings are rapidly now becoming academic.

Is that Killik buying from Miton now. Like a game of chess this !

25 buys in a row at 24.75p...quite incredible eh !

And moving on from the holdings, perhaps it is time to speculate on where this intense buying is coming from, and why! Since the middle of last week, there has been some very strong momentum building.

News coming, perhaps?

23.75-24.75p

If buying volume sustains just for another hour like currently we should clear the
seller(s)

Serious buys again today. I'd be surprised if we have a overhang still at close of play.

Ok one last go at this before we all lose the will... :)

If we take the Miton reduction RNS yesterday, and the subsequent 1.85 million from last night as their's, the number we are looking for, probably at 5.15 tonight, would be the remaining 886,436 shares, for them to be out completely.

I quote the exact number as it should be spottable...

That is guesswork, and I'll be glad when the next day or two are over... But what is for sure, with 14% of the company traded in three trading days, more holding RNSs can be expected!

Still a overhang as I can buy at least 50k online.

Cheers, Hybrasil and Sikh. I think I owe Dave an apology though. He is probably right that there was a a second seller!

Miton held over 5.4 million, but we have done well over 8 million in the last three trading days. so it could be that Killick have piggy-backed in here and sold their remaining 2.3 million.
If so then we'll get more holding RNSs in the next few days, Which I would anticipate anyway as the last three days represents about 14% of the company!

I think your 25p will look great in coming weeks as we hopefully settle down and remember Bob bought these bundles at 35p. If he thinks that's fair value, I'll go with that! :)

Yes well done micro. It shows how useful these threads are. Even though I paid 25 p yesterday!!

Haha spacedust, cheers - too kind though. If i didn't follow another thread on here (Wey) I would never have found out. The person there highlighted that Miton were redeeming - and after that it was a case of checking their holding here and adding 2+2, it was down to a stroke of luck.

I think we probably can all learn from this whole episode. It shows how fiendishly difficult it is for PIs to figure out what is really happening behind the scenes.

If I hadn't got that lucky break, we would have had a (perfectly understandable) string of posts - asking why are Miton reducing, what's the problem with TLY, why was it announced at 4.32pm... You can just imagine it all too easily!

And 9 times out of 10 that is the reality of what us all as PIs are up against. We never really know what's happening, or why...

This was 40p prior to some of the contract news. 40m worth of contracts.

Our market cap is less than half that

No I'm sure just one, Dave, these trades make perfect sense that way. Someone has paid for the four bundles. (I wish it was me at that price :) ).

2 sellers possibly ???

I'm tempted to buy more even though I bought size at 21p. I can still see 25p delivering a good profit. You could buy 50,000 at least online but could be buyers out of the traps at the open so it might not last.

And scroll down to the bottom of the trades, there are 4 'matching' trades 1 million at 22p and the other three at 21.5 (2x300k and 1x250k).

That'll be them off to be held in Treasury. Either that or someone else has bought them, but I doubt that given the RNS this morning.

EDIT: TH not sure where they'll be held but that was my best guess.

it's actually an academic point in fairness.

it's also possible Miton will keep what they have left, but I rather doubt it!

Today's 1.85 million will take them below 3% so the only way we will know after that is to watch trade numbers over the next 48 hours or so.

I think anyone buying at these levels has done very very well. I predict in a few weeks time we will be above 30p, heading close to what bob paid to the 50 and under holders today. If he thinks fair value is 35p, who am i to argue!
