Cenkos are now back on the bid which is encouraging for further rises. Perhaps the overhang has been cleared....

Good posts cottoner.

As always in a business like this you can do a google search and all you will see is a bad review because people only review to moan and rarely to praise so in their Somerset area they have had problems but before TLY took over. But you never get reviews of the thousands of satisfied people who have used the service.

Great find! As I said before, all the management have to do is show that have stabilised Vocare and the share price should take off. It seems we are close to that scenario IMHO.

Yes I know that these improvements cannot be claimed by TLY management since they happened over the course of 2017 but nevertheless, if shows that Vocare appears to be on an even keel.

Vocare House - Quality Report
Date of inspection visit: 20 October 2017
Date of publication: 08/12/2017

Overall summary

Letter from the Chief Inspector of General

PracticeWe carried out an announced comprehensive inspection
at Vocare House on 10, 11, 14 and 30 January 2017. The
overall rating for the service was requires improvement.
The full comprehensive report on the January 2017
inspection can be found by selecting the ‘all reports’ link
for Vocare House on our website at www.cqc.org.uk.

This inspection was an unannounced focused inspection
carried out on 20 October 2017 to confirm that the service
had carried out their plan to meet the legal requirements
in relation to the breaches in regulations that we
identified in our previous inspection in January 2017. This
report covers our findings in relation to those
requirements and also additional improvements made
since our last inspection.

Overall the service is now rated as good.

Our key findings were as follows:

• The service’s internal online training system had been
redesigned and the sample of training records we
looked at showed all clinical staff had recently carried
out safeguarding training.

• The staff responsible for recruitment had been
integrated into the human resource support team. The
team supported regional and line managers with the
administrative tasks associated with recruitment. The
sample of recruitment records we looked at showed
references had been obtained.

• Most training had been completed. Arrangements
were in place to contact GPs to request copies of
training certificates where they had completed this
externally to the service.

• A large amount of appraisals for non-clinical staff had
been carried out over the previous six months; staff
had either had a recent appraisal or had a date
booked within the following two weeks.

At our previous inspection in January 2017 we said the
service should continue to seek ways to improve
performance on face-to-face consultations. Performance
was below average; the target was for 95% of
consultations to take place within set timescales. The
provider had achieved between 73% and 100% for the
period April to September 2016. Plans were in place to
improve, which included employing prescribing
pharmacists and setting up a national triage team to
cover periods of high demand. At this inspection we
found that performance had improved and ranged from
94.3% to 100% of consultations taking place within the
relevant timescales.

News story just recently appeared on BBC site.

NHS operations deferred throughout January
By Alex Therrien
Health reporter, BBC News

a few snippets from the article.

'Hospitals in England are being told to delay pre-planned operations and routine outpatient appointments until 31 January due to winter pressures.'

'Analysis:
BBC News health editor Hugh Pym

The NHS is always under great pressure in the New Year - with some patients holding off over the festive season before going into A&E.

Hospitals have planned intensively for the higher anticipated demand over winter.

But the service seems under even more strain than previous years.'

'Between 23 December and 1 January, it took more than 40,000 NHS 111 calls and more than 16,000 999 calls - compared to around 28,000 NHS 111 calls and 15,000 999 calls in the same period last year.'

It is Cenkos the joint house broker on the offer. Maybe one of the bigger holders is unloading some, although against that view there hasn't been any holdings announcement.....yet! If so, expect a large delayed sale shortly.

Typical! I wanted it to stay steady until next week when my TYR money comes in. Nevertheless I added to my spreadbet position this morning in a small way.

If the management can show they have stabilised Vocare, the price could go up very quickly IMHO!

NHS shake-up is not a Trojan horse for privatisation, says top doctor

"Keogh says ACOs will be “complete care systems”, with NHS physical, mental, community-based and ambulance trusts working in close partnership along with local council providers of adult social care in order to give patients a more joined-up service that caters for all their needs together.

“This year NHS bodies in eight places will come together with local councils and other organisations to work as complete care systems, with the needs of patients, not individual organisations, driving decision-making,” he writes."

Be wary of one person with multiple names trying to deramp TLY.

Just check the posting history of the names and you will see the connections.
