thanks graham, from your post on lse...

"The expanding role of for-profit firms comes despite a pledge by the NHS England chief executive, Simon Stevens – backed by Hunt – to abolish the purchaser/provider split in the health service introduced by Margaret Thatcher’s government in 1990, which helped facilitate competition in healthcare and the outsourcing of services, and promote greater integration of health and social care services.

“Private health providers now have a strong foothold,” said Evans. “Billions of pounds-worth of opportunities to bid for NHS business are still being advertised, despite numerous failures and widespread criticism.”"

But they could absorb a short period of loss making with their current cash balance. Plus Bob's city mates will back him again I suspect, if he needs a bit more cash. Anyway I have confidence that they will turn the Vocare business round quite quickly.

Part of my TYR cash from the tender offer will go into TLY at this level!

Cannot be compared with Tyratch surely !

Market forecasts had anticipated cash balances to be GBP4.1million as at 31 December 2017, this number has been revised upwards to no less than GBP8.0million.

Not the sign of a business burning through cash !

Nobby - Provided the trading activities are cash flow positive rather than burning cash - In the latter case could be like Tyratech (remember floated at £5.00) burnt cash and look at your average cost !! - With revenues (t/o) in excess of £70M only needs a small shortfall at operating level PLUS central and plc costs to burn up the spare cash.

Have fun - Like yourself need figures before I get my toes wet !! Have a great New Year.

So the company is trading at about 0.25 times turnover. Complete madness....

Vocare should provide the catalyst for the share price ... with annual revenues in excess of £70m... However, TLY only bought them in Oct, so less than a qtr's worth of contribution will be included in fy Dec 2017...

NHS England looking for providers of integrated care for NHS111, Urgent Care Centres and Walk in centres...
Vocare are 1 of few companies offering the integrated care...

Then we have the other subsidiaries...

Cash is min £8m.. The current mcap £19m...

Look at it this way.

After returning from suspension and acquisition the price hits 55p.

This month they say cash balances will be over double the forecast and all parts of the business are trading well

Price 32.25p mid....go figure !

I completely agree with you about buying distressed stocks. The valuation here is ridiculous but presumably is based on the premise that the Vocare purchase is a complete disaster. I don't think there is any doubt the current management will get to grips with the issues and as I said before, as long as they show progress with Vocare, this level will be history very quickly.

But we will need some figures to prove this....

Might just happen.

I added the 15k and the 5k today. I've been adding a lot of shares but atm I seem to be the only one. I love buying a good story at distressed levels. The idiots that play this market are the ones that will buy this when it's soaring and up 100-200% in 6 months time

I will be adding more when the funds from the Tyratech tender offer clear into my wife's SIPP account. Sadly that is not until Jan 8th so I hope the price stays at this level or lower.....

but it's good to see volume here at last

same here, I've been topping up as and when....agree the market assumes that there are major problems with Vocare...

The fy end is end of this month... It'll include some contribution from Vocare...
Hopefully, we'll get a TU sometime in Jan...

Like you I am topping up regularly both via shares and spreadbets. The current market cap assumes they are going to have major problems with Vocare so even if they just steady the ship, I see lots of upside!

I expected improvement today now they have moved Harrison on and named a credible manager. Maybe it’ll take a while til he gets in and removes Harrison’s rot. Maybe I’m too impatient!

Absolutely traders don't look at m cap they look for penny shares. Hide your time this will move up gradually overtime.

:-) top up as and when you can I am
