06/2/2021 17:07 | Graham... Covid and Brexit have given current libertarian conservatives a taste for control and they secretly like it. The Nhs is a UK religion. Private company shareholders making a profit is anathema to the ethos of the Nhs. Only the workers within TLY and the patients will do very nicely from government oversight. If government can renationalise railways, taking back control of 911 is a hop and a skip. Expecting longer contracts is wishful thinking. Share volatility... "strong opinions, weakly held" | muffinhead
06/2/2021 16:10 | So private companies have been helping out the NHS now they get shat on. Perhaps TLY should concentrate on private patients from now on and move away from the nhs. | grahamwales
06/2/2021 13:41 | As a holder I would prefer to see additional business as opposed to just contract extensions. The NHS are busy doing other stuff which prevents them going through the tender process. | red army
06/2/2021 12:32 | That's the problem with the Nhs.. politicians keep changing the rules Contracts could be renewed or sorry insourcing/outsourci Totally should just register as a charity | muffinhead
06/2/2021 12:24 | There is talk that the NHS England will reform and combine Health & Social care with the NHS, This would follow what is happening in Northern Ireland. Health & Social care has been the thorn to the government over the covid cases in care homes and social care coming to a halt with visiting patience, Mental health has suffered being the responsibility of council to pass on vulnerable patience. With Totally can see this as a dominate force and as always if its not broke then no need to fix. Longer term contracts will be the way forward | thordon
06/2/2021 11:55 | Well as I have said many times the IIs didn't like the model of frequent (relatively speaking) repeat contracts so if they are going to be longer, that is most definitely a positive. They have shown ample evidence that they can win contract renewals and new contracts so if they are for longer, that can only be good! | nobbygnome
06/2/2021 10:37 | This could also mean that successful currently localised schemes may be taken up nationally, such as regional contracts out to the private sector. In other words, Totally's current exposure in regions, may be expanded nationwide. This will be a massive boost to the company, albeit that they may possibly have to apply, but they would with advantage for having a good record with the current contracts. I think this news is very positive indeed. | empoggio
06/2/2021 09:45 | TLY has been a vital and responsive partner for the NHS in the Covid crisis and I don't think this leaked white paper will change anything. Do you think they will stop contracts with THC to clear the backlog? It's much more likely that this process will be accelerated as will the wider use of private companies where appropriate. I just don't see how it can be interpreted as a negative.... | nobbygnome
06/2/2021 09:40 | re...I may be wrong, but I actually read this as a positive This isn’t a reversal of what TLY do but will probably accelerate the process my thoughts exactly.... for further clarification .....listen to enc. videos | thefartingcommie
06/2/2021 09:33 | Makes you wonder who has taken out those long positions at IG and Spreadex | longshanks

06/2/2021 09:19 | Is there a link to that article Coldspring ? | cheshire man
06/2/2021 09:14 | Have read the article and foresee this will take years to come to fruition. The NHS is such a huge organisation that you cannot simply click fingers and expect change overnight. I would also mention that the divergence into physio services for the police as announced recently would not be covered by NHS in any event. | coldspring
06/2/2021 08:52 | Totally Are Proactive.... And Will Adjust Accordingly.....Mayb | porky8
06/2/2021 08:30 | Today's announcement seems strange from central government on the future of the NHS. How will this impact on TLY and its price on Monday.......?? | anley

05/2/2021 15:40 | Those spreadbetters will be closing soon | deltrotter
05/2/2021 14:40 | Must be the same at IG then. Odd because on the IG system, they have the number of holders listed as between 11 and 50: not many. | longshanks |
