20/1/2022 10:31 | 31/1/2020 Acquisition of DMSL"DMSL has multiple revenue streams including: upfront cash and recurring revenue from BT activities; recurring revenues from directly managed and contracted customers; and revenue share with resellers" | sharetalk
20/1/2022 10:08 | I've got better things to be doing with my day, than argue with gamblers, have a good day all. | leewink1
20/1/2022 09:53 | Get a grip, two glaring reasons to bash, you want lower prices, or you've been burnt here and bitter on it, which one is it? Very boring that you feel it necessary to sit here wasting days away with your bitterness, whilst it is sitting over twenty percent up on when I was called an idiot for simply posting here, as obviously not to post and leave a seemingly dead thread is better, another sad loser without mentioning names. Unfortunately whilst it sits happy waiting for results, the majority sees your obvious hurt. | leewink1
20/1/2022 09:42 | All those massive contracts and the 200,000 customers.... Even at £2 a month per customer theyl see growth... oh wait thats not how it works with BT | investrip
20/1/2022 09:38 | The problem is, Toop will never grow, while they continue to try and re sell BT. This move is a negative but with positive spin, they don't own any of the 200,000 or 250,000 customer. All the comparables of Gamma, Kcom, Daisy from the past, all irrelevant now, they are purely a reseller of BT. Theres no growth, no long term recurring revenue, just one off commissions. Its directly against everything Andy has preached for years. He spouted BT were bad, customers needed something else. Now look... | investrip
20/1/2022 09:32 | No point bashing to get in lower with TOOP, as there's always further lower it can go. Results should be great, given all those massive new contracts they've talked about? | verulamium
20/1/2022 09:29 | Oh move on FGS, results any day now, and I'm sure good reason to bash it to get in lower, isn't it amazing how suddenly everyone knows everything about toop? Ask yourself why they do it? Pretty obvious and sad. DYOR and just wait for the results. | leewink1
20/1/2022 09:26 | "This new facility is supported by BT who will provide assistance, training and onboarding for staff supporting customers around BT's product portfolio...The support received from BT for the new centre has minimised set up and operating costs, maximizing potential returns." | sharetalk
20/1/2022 09:23 | Wouldn't say I've got no interest in ever investing in TOOP, if there's ever an investment case. A market cap of £2.4M is obviously very tempting if there's ever any sign of a path to profitablility or news of how they'll deal with the debt issue. | verulamium
20/1/2022 09:11 | Yes but researching companies you have absolutely no interest in ever investing in is a complete waste of time. What a sad sad life you live Jane | zeus19
20/1/2022 09:03 | This was the news when the Durban call centre opened: New sales centre opened in Durban, South Africa performing well o Significantly extended operating hours into the evening o Helps maximise customer enquiries o Cost attractive when compared to on-shore UK o Reducing cost of customer acquisition o Leads to reduction of sales cost of circa 50% per order Durban at the time was an additional call centre. Between then and now the existing UK call centre and anything DMSL had was closed down and everything done from SA. Now, some of the business is coming back to the UK, reversing all the benefits they trumpeted before. They seem to spend a lot of time going round in circles. | verulamium
20/1/2022 08:27 | Depends what you consider a waste of time. Researching companies you don't have shares in isn't always a waste of time is it? | verulamium
20/1/2022 08:21 | Quite a lot thanks zeus. None of them TOOP shares though, thank goodness. | verulamium
20/1/2022 08:19 | How many shares do you have Verulamium? Oh wait... | zeus19
20/1/2022 08:19 | Quite an unusual step for BT to provide such support and on such a large scale, who's customers presumably thus prefer UK based sales and support staff. Presumably BT assume there will be a benefit, so presumably it will help Toople gain and retain more BT customers. | city chappy
20/1/2022 08:14 | Yes, that's the wording that's been in every RNS for 2 years, while the revenue's declined. Looks like it's out of date, given that the new content talks about 200k customers. (edit - 18 months, I've checked back. The wording's changed slightly, they've obviously dropped the bit about the DMSL takeover being transformational, but those numbers have stayed the same.) | verulamium
20/1/2022 08:10 | Great RNS for the people invested here. Andy is doing great job turning this company around. The Future Looking Statement should be a very bullish read. Also for some less informed this is from today's RNS: The Group's wholly owned subsidiary DMS Holding (DMSL) provides unified communication services in the UK ranging from a single phone line to a multi-site unified comms VoIP platform, delivered via a network of telecoms and IT carriers and content providers across the UK including BT Business, BT Global Services, Gamma, EE, Vonage, TalkTalk Business and O2. DMSL acts as a BT Premier re-seller for broadband connectivity, mobile and fixed voice and cloud services and is responsible for over 250,000 BT customers and over 400,000 Revenue Generating Units. The Company also owns a telecoms price comparison website and a service offering company credit reference checking and reports. These complement the Group's IT and telecoms services. | sharestingoriginal
20/1/2022 08:04 | Which makes raising £1.6M by the end of the year a bit tricky. | verulamium
20/1/2022 08:03 | Mkt cap 2.3million. | dodge_city
20/1/2022 08:03 | 250k to 200k doesn't sound like expansion. | verulamium
20/1/2022 08:02 | 2nd Contact Centre - the business is expanding. | dodge_city
20/1/2022 08:00 | Does that mean the "over 250,000 BT customers and over 400,000 Revenue Generating Units" they've been using on every RNS for a couple of years is as inaccurate as I've long suspected it is? | verulamium
20/1/2022 07:59 | PLC Opening of Second Contact Centre Supported by BT20 January 2022Toople PLC (LSE: TOOP), a provider of bespoke telecom services to UK SMEs and a reseller of BT's products and services, is delighted to announce that it has opened a second contact centre based in South Cheshire, which is now fully operational. 20/1/2022 07:52 | Probably on wafer thin margins which don't even pay the G&A. | sleveen |
